Edoardo Mapelli Mossi has paid tribute to Princess Beatrice with a sweet couple's selfie on her 33rd birthday.
The husband of the Queen's fifth grandchild took to Instagram on Sunday (8 August) to share the sentimental post, much to the delight of royal fans.
"Happy Birthday my love. I love you with all my heart ❤️," he captioned the black-and-white photo, which shows the besotted pair smiling and cuddling on an unnamed beach. The couple skipped the swimming costumes and opted for some warmer threads in light of the seemingly overcast weather conditions, with Beatrice in a denim jacket and Edoardo wearing a linen white shirt and sweater tied around his shoulders.

It didn't take long for the kind messages from the English property mogul's followers to come pouring in. Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and British TV presenter Natalie Pinkman were just two of the countless fans to send their birthday wishes to Princess Beatrice, who announced she is expecting her first child with Edoardo back in May.
This isn't the first time the interior design company CEO has used social media to express his feelings for his wife. Just a few weeks ago, Edoardo gushed about Beatrice in a touching post to mark their one-year wedding anniversary.
"I can’t believe it has been 1 year. Every second of every day since has been so full of joy, happiness, laughter, and love," he wrote. "You are the kindest, loveliest, and most beautiful person in the world. Thank you my darling for every second. ❤️👰💍."

With their delivery date in autumn, these upcoming months are likely to be very busy for the expectant parents. Princess Beatrice and Edoardo are set to move into a $3.5m country retreat before the arrival of their baby, where they can hopefully enjoy some quality time with each other before the big day. The property is reportedly located in the picturesque Cotswolds, a collection of quaint villages spread across the southern English countryside.
Unlike her younger sister Princess Eugenie, who was in a relationship with Jack Brooksbank for eight years before tying the knot, Beatrice married Edoardo less than two years after they first started dating.
The couple had known each other through family ties since 2011, but only became romantically involved when they bumped into each other at a London party in September 2018. They announced their engagement exactly one year later and went on to marry in a private ceremony at Windsor Castle in July 2020.
