Royal Voluntary Service President, HRH The Duchess of Cornwall joined us at one of our lunch clubs today and thanked volunteers for dedicating their time to help others 👏 At the club HRH helped serve up lunch and met volunteers and diners, like Doris Winfield (aged 86), who The Duchess of Cornwall previously met via a ‘check in and chat’ call, while Doris was self-isolating in April. Thanks to support from players of @peoplespostcodelottery, we are able to run these popular lunch clubs up and down the country which provide a warm, welcoming place for local residents.
