Duchess of Cambridge opts for £8 high street earrings for Chelsea Flower Show preview

While the annual Chelsea Flower Show begins today, the Duchess of Cambridge has been working hard behind the scenes for months on her own garden, in collaboration with the RHS.

Catherine has designed a ‘Back to Nature’ garden, designed to help families and communities to ‘come together and connect with nature’.

Yesterday, the Duchess took her entire family to visit the garden, and the palace has since shared some adorable photos of her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, including the older two Cambridge siblings playing in the garden while little Louis potters around with his parents.

But another thing that caught our eye was Catherine’s fabulous, floral-inspired outfit – the perfect choice for a day spent in the garden.

Luckily for us, various royal watchers have managed to lock down the details of the Duchess’s outfit, and it looks as though she’s opted mainly for affordable high-street pieces – music to our ears!

The Duchess of Cambridge decided on a pair of high-street earrings to finish off her outfit. And while she usually opts for designer pieces, according to one royal fan, @regalreplikate, she went for some pretty pink petal drop earrings from none other than Accessorize.

The earrings costs just £8, making them one of the most affordable pieces Catherine has ever worn, and are available on the website HERE. Get them before they sell out!

Catherine’s stunning floral maxi dress, with spring-like yellow, pink and blue tones, is reportedly from & Other Stories too, costing £79.

Unfortunately, due to the famous Kate-effect, the dress has now sold out. But never fear, as a very similar one is available at & Other Stories as an online exclusive.

The ruffled version of the maxi dress is almost an exact copy of Catherine’s original, apart from the ruffle detailing down the front. It’ll set you back £89, so while it’s not cheap, it’s a brilliant, easy, wardrobe go-to for the summer.

Buy it HERE.

There’s also a mini dress version of the floral maxi, which costs a much more affordable £49.

It’s one of the first times we’ve seen the entire Cambridge family out and about together, and only one of a handful of times we’ve seen pictures of one-year-old Prince Louis.

Catherine will today attend the first day of the Chelsea Flower Show to unveil her RHS garden, with the Queen and other members of the royal family also heading to the prestigious event.
