Tuesday evening saw a rather extravagant event taking place in London’s Buckingham Palace.
NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) leaders and delegations headed to the country’s capital last night to join the Queen and other members of the royal family for a reception honouring the organisation’s 70-year anniversary.
Queen Elizabeth II, alongside royal family members including, Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Duchess Kate and Princess Anne welcomed leaders of the NATO alliance for the lavish reception, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, US President Donald Trump alongside his wife Melania, and German Prime Minister Angela Merkel.

And while the whole guest list was dressed to the nines, it was a certain host (or two) who have been the talk of the town.
Duchess Catherine and Duchess Camilla are known for wearing gorgeous outfits during royal engagements, and they certainly did not disappoint yesterday evening.
The royal pair, whose husbands Prince Charles and Prince William are first and second in line to the British throne, managed to look beautifully elegant for the reception whilst also introducing a touch of the festive season.
Both duchesses turned up to the reception wearing Christmassy colours, with Duchess Camilla dressed in a red drop waist pleated dress with a chic collarless neckline.
Catherine tapped into the other major festive hue, wowing in a bright green high neck, long-sleeved dress.
The Duchess of Cambridge also reportedly borrowed the Queen’s diamond teardrop earrings, which Her Majesty was first seen wearing during the State Opening of Parliament back in 2012.
We have to say, that is one stylish family!
