A new photo of Duchess Camilla has been shared to celebrate the royal’s milestone 75th birthday today (July 17).
Camilla is wearing a dress from Sophie Dundas in the shot while she relaxes in the gardens at Raymill, a six-bedroom house she bought in the 1990s.
The photographer, Chris Jackson, shared the photo on his own social media feed, providing some further insight into the shot - and the subject.

He wrote, “Really special to photograph the Duchess of Cornwall at her home in Wiltshire… I’ve spent many years travelling around the world photographing The Duchess on Royal Tours and engagements so it’s lovely to photograph her somewhere she feels so relaxed.”
He then added some extra knowledge, pointing out that the peaches in shot in the photo were homegrown.
He wrote, “I love the fact she even grew the impressive peaches in the photo.”

Sustainability and gardening are something the Duchess shares a love for along with her husband, Prince Charles.
Charles has been running Home Farm from his 900-acre Gloucestershire retreat, Highgrove Gardens, since 1985, and the pair open their private residence for part of the year, welcoming almost 40,000 visitors annually to view the gardens, which include a cottage garden, sundial garden, wildflower meadow, and even a carpet garden.
Marking a notable change in public perception, people online have rushed to praise Duchess Camilla on her milestone birthday – and celebrated her many years weathering public scrutiny and criticism.
Leaving a comment under the Royal Family’s birthday post on Instagram, one social media user wrote, “Enjoy! You’ve kept your dignity through all the ups and downs… you deserve to be happy. Enjoy your day.”
Other comments include praising the more intimate nature of the photo, writing, “I love that she chose to be portrayed at her private home.”
Another added, “Lovely photo, you can feel her warmth.”
While many added their own praise, including “Warmth, love and kindness just radiates from her lovely face”, the peaches themselves threatened to upstage her.
One fan humorously wrote, “Big shout out to the peaches!”
