Duchess Catherine has wowed in a gorgeous gown while attending a royal event.
The Duchess of Cambridge hosted a reception yesterday at Buckingham Palace alongside husband Prince William.
The Cambridges accompanied Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex as well as Princess Anne, as the family welcomed guests to the palace on behalf of the Queen.
The royals welcomed Heads of State and Government with their partners, as well as delegates, members of the UK government and UK and African business figures to mark the UK-Africa Investment Summit.
And while everyone was dressed to impress, Duchess Catherine naturally stole the show with her consistent effortless elegance as she stunned in a beautiful red gown.
The beaded maxi gown featured intricate sequin embellishment and the tulle fabric draped down in A line shape, while the cherry red colour made the Duchess the centre of attention.
And while the beautiful piece looks like it could be something that was specially made for the fashion-forward Duchess, it actually comes straight from one of our high-street favourites.
The evening dress is actually a staple from Needle & Thread’s ready-to-wear range.
Available on online retailer ASOS and department store’s Selfridges and Harrods, the occasionwear brand is home to a range of gorgeous dresses and co-ords that can be worn for any important event.
And their Aurora Gown has to be one of the standout pieces of their collection.
As well as the beautiful cherry red that the Duchess showed off so well, the tulle dress also comes in a classic black and a trendy monochrome.
The standout gown will set you back £410, but the monochrome version is currently on offer for only £287.
And surprisingly all three colours are currently still available! Though the red and monochrome are nearly sold out, so head to the brand’s website if you want to get your hands on one!
