Camilla Parker Bowles shared some banter with the Prince of Wales during a recent public engagement, which saw the royal couple mingling with the community of Clapham in South London.
Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall enjoyed a tour of the affluent borough yesterday, stopping by many of its local businesses for a post-lockdown check-in. The visit included a stop at the Prince of Wales pub, which is just one of the 158 drinking joints named after the Queen's eldest son.
Charles and Camilla were greeted by the bar's owner, Dermot Connell, who proudly showed the curious couple around his cosy, bric-a-brac filled venue. He was also delighted to see the Prince jump at the chance to play bartender, a task he elected to do of his own accord.

"They thought we might have to push him into doing it but he volunteered," he revealed.
Charles pulled himself a pint of Sambrook’s bitter behind the bar, pouring the English ale with concentrated force. He seemed reluctant to fill the glass entirely, letting go of the tap when the liquid neared the surface.
"I'm not going to drink it all," he admitted to his captivated audience.

The Prince then lifted the glass to his mouth to take a sip, momentarily forgetting he was still wearing his mask. This lapse led to a comical exchange between him and Camilla, who was quick to tease her husband for his silly slip-up.
"That's going to be an interesting one to drink through a mask," Camilla joked.
A red-faced Charles replied, "Haha!" prompting laughter from the spectators.
Despite the blunder, Charles seemed very at home at the quirky pub. He admired its unusual decorations, which include stuffed animals, an inflatable palm tree, and a Didgeridoo. He also revealed he'd love to visit every Prince of Wales pub in the country, at the very least to bag himself 'a free drink.'
Sadly, the Prince's bartending stint didn't last long. The couple had plenty more stops to make on their tour, including visits to a theater, a florist, a fire station, and a high-end restaurant.
