Ooops, they did it again.
Back in 2003, during a now-infamous opening performance at the MTV Video Music Awards, Madonna and Britney Spears kissed on stage. Today, during Britney's intimate wedding to Sam Asghari, the two artists shared another smooch.
Madonna wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance, though. According to E! News (opens in new tab), Paris Hilton and her mom Kathy Hilton were also in attendance, alongside the likes of Drew Barrymore, Maria Menounos, Ansel Elgort, Selena Gomez and Donatella Versace, who actually custom-made Britney's wedding dress.

Speaking of the gown: in photos from the event, Britney is seen walking down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder, short sleeve, V-neck dress with a high slit. She finished off her look with high heels also from Versace and a beautiful veil that fans got to take a peek of back in May when Britney shared a photo of it on Instagram.
But as you may notice from the photo of Britney and Madonna locking lips, the bride changed into a party look after the ceremony. According to sources, in addition to the red fringed mini dress that's shown in the photo she took with Madonna, Britney donned a few other styles during the event.
Although her guests didn't get to change their outfits, they surely partied along with the newlyweds. According to sources, Britney, Madonna and Selena danced to the bride's iconic song Toxic. Drew and Donatella then joined them to sing Vogue, by Madonna, and Britney and Paris treated all to a duet of the latter's own Stars Are Blind.
As beautiful as the party was, the day was also filled with surprises. In fact, Britney's ex-husband Jason Alexander was caught, arrested and charged with trespassing and battery after crashing the event, which was held at the pop star's house in Thousand Oaks.
"He was detained, handcuffed and I'm please(d) to report, arrested. Fortunately, Britney is safe," Mathew S. Rosengart, Britney's lawyer, said to CNN (opens in new tab) in an official statement. "I'm livid by this security breach and am working closely with law enforcement to ensure he is aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."
Alas, hiccups are always bound to happen. We are happy, though, that things have been cleared and that Britney and Sam got to experience the remainder of their important day in relative peace.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
