Ruth Langsford left her social media followers swooning when she shared a snap of her super cute Easter table display.
The This Morning host took to Instagram yesterday to share a video of her festive dining table decoration.
In the footage, posted for the eyes of her 792,000 followers, Ruth’s spring themed dinner lay out could be seen set out ready for her Easter Sunday lunch, along with her husband Eamonn and their son, Jack.
Complete with chocolate bunnies, sunshine yellow placemats, adorable fluffy chick and rabbit decorations plus pastel eggs, the dining room looked every inch an Easter wonderland.
Sadly, due to the coronavirus lockdown measures, Ruth was unable to spend the long weekend with her mother and gave a nod to the sad situation in her caption, which read, ‘The Easter table’s set but only 3 of us sitting down this year.... HAPPY EASTER everyone, have the best day you can x x 🐰🐣🍫.’
Loads of fans and celeb pals took to the comment section to applaud Ruth’s table décor.
‘You’ve inspired me to do a lovely Easter table now,’ wrote fellow Loose Women panellist Saira Khan, while mummy influencer Louise Pentland added, ‘I love it! 🌷🐰🐣.’
‘Have a lovely day xxx,’ added pro baker Juliet Sear, while telly host Trisha Goddard continued, ‘Happy Easter!❤️.’
While Ruth may have indulged in some chocolate and a delicious roast dinner over the weekend, she’s been making sure to keep active during lockdown by taking on a skipping challenge and heading outside to jump rope every day.
‘I’m going to try skipping again! Loved it as a kid....bit harder when you’re 60! Only managed about 20 skips before I got tangled! If at first you don’t succeed ....#isolationexercises #skipping,’ she told her followers last week.'
Ruth’s husband and telly partner Eamonn took to the comments to praise his wife for her fitness motivation, writing, ‘She doesn't even tell me she's thinking about things like this ..... what a Woman ! My Respect 🙏👍👏👏👏.’
