Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla look adorable in matching tartan during their latest trip
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are total couple goals and style icons in matching tartan
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are total couple goals in matching tartan during a recent trip. The royal couple look just as loved up as ever during official outing in Scotland.
- Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla enjoyed meeting each other's company on an official trip.
- They even partook in their shared love, by reading poetry together.
- In other royal news, The Queen's fears about Kate Middleton's lavish lifestyle have been revealed.
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla were twinning on a recent outing in Ayr, Scotland. The royal couple is back on official duties after their summer holidays, but it looks like they're still enjoying Scotland after their Balmoral break.
Among their many titles, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla are the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay. It was as such that they met the local residents and shopkeepers of Alloway Main Street. After this they made a trip to the cottage where Scottish poet Robert Burns was born in 1759.
The Duchess, who recently revealed her secret recipe for the perfect Victoria sponge, looked delighted, and dare we say smitten, as they posed outside the famous poet's house.
The Duke and Duchess were given a tour of the historic cottage and they were offered the opportunity to see the original Auld Lang Syne manuscript. The Duchess is sure to have enjoyed a chance to read such an important piece of history, if the recent portrait of her 'idea of perfection' is anything to go by.
Prince Charles has been Patron of Friends of the National Libraries since 2014. A fitting role for someone so passionate about culture. The charity's aim is to save written and printed heritage. As we speak, it's currently working to save manuscripts from the Honresfield Library.
These manuscripts include work of the Brontës, Jane Austen, Walter Scott, and Robert Burns. The private collection was due to go to auction at Sothebys and there has been a campaign to save these historical works for the UK.
