  • Actress Jennifer Aniston reportedly wants to meet up with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Vancouver Island while she works on a sequel to film Murder Mystery this summer.

According to US sources, Jen is keen to collaborate with Meghan on Hollywood projects now that she’s stepped down from the Royal Family.

Jennifer is said to be a fan of the Duchess’ work and the two women have mutual showbiz friends, such as George and Amal Clooney.

An insider said, ‘Jen has a lot of admiration for Meghan and loved her in Suits, plus she’s open to them collaborating on projects together now that Meghan’s back in the entertainment world.

‘They have a lot in common and a number of mutual friends including the Clooneys, and there have already been some friendly exchanges between them.’

The source added, ‘Jen will be up in Canada by June or July to start filming, all being well, plus there will be plenty of opportunity for them to hang out in LA once Meghan and Harry are in town.

‘They’re looking forward to getting together.’

It comes after Jennifer’s ex-husband Brad Pitt – with whom she is rumoured to be reuniting – joked about ‘Megxit’ at the BAFTAs on Sunday evening.

Earlier this week, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to visit the women of The Hubb Community Kitchen and “Together, Our Community Cookbook.” These women came together in the wake of the Grenfell tragedy to cook meals for their families and neighbours who had been displaced from the fire. With funds from the successful cookbook, they have now been able to share their spirit of community with so many more. The Hubb continues to work with local organisations to build hope, bring comfort and provide not simply a warm meal, but with it, a sense of togetherness. The Duke and Duchess were so happy to reconnect with the women and hear about the projects they continue to develop to help those in their community and beyond. Image © SussexRoyal

In a speech delivered by Margot Robbie, he said that he was going to name his Best Supporting Actor gong ‘Harry, because he is really excited about bringing it back to the States with him’.

Actress Margot swiftly added, ‘His words, not mine’ after The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge awkwardly laughed in the audience.

Harry and Meghan announced they were stepping back as senior Members of the Royal Family last month, revealing they were going to divide their time between the UK and Canada.
