James' latest recipe book is actually available to buy on 7th February, so it's certainly impressive that it's managed to climb its way up the best-seller ladder from pre-orders alone.

The 46-year-old's fans weren't surprised by the good news however, confessing they knew it'd be a hit.

One wrote on James' post, 'Of course it's number one James your books are always fab!', while another agreed, 'I'm not surprised. Have you SEEN the cover lol 😉. Recipes just as lovely I'm sure.'

And a third said, 'Of course it's great. Your explanations and recipes are easy to read, easy to follow and personable. The results are delish.' A fourth fan also commented, 'Can't wait!!! Congratulations James. ❤️'

In the new cookbook, James debuts dishes from all over the UK, 'all with the best ingredients this small island has to offer'.

The TV show of James' new cookbook, James Martin's Great British Adventure will begin on ITV on Monday 11th February, when he takes a trip to the Orkney Islands.

It's certainly a busy start to the year for the chef, as he's also currently on TV with his show Saturday Morning with James Martin, which is filmed from the star's home.

And before Christmas, he finished up a huge, UK-wide tour of his live show. Let's hope he's finding time to relax in his busy schedule!
