The popular medical drama - starring Amanda Redman - has gone down a storm with ITV viewers - regularly pulling in over 6 million viewers per episode.
So it's no surprise that the show will be returning for a third run, and we can't wait.
Of the news, executive producer Lucy Bedford said, “The commission of a third series is testament to the hard work of our incredible cast and talented writers, led by Dan Sefton.
“The colourful characters and life-affirming stories continue to strike a chord with the audience and we are so excited to be bringing everyone another series of this wonderful drama.”

So what do we need to know about The Good Karma Hospital season 3?
When will The Good Karma Hospital season 3 air?
Very little is known so far about the upcoming third series - but we do know roughly when it will hit our screens.
ITV have confirmed thatThe Good Karma Hospitalwill return for its third season this year - 2019 - meaning we don't have long to wait for new episodes! Previous series of the drama have aired as early as March, so it may be that the third season airs in the early part of this year, although there has been no announcement yet. We're keeping our fingers crossed...
Will all of our favourite cast members return for The Good Karma Hospital season 3?
Season two of the India-based drama ended on a romantic cliff-hanger, with junior doctor Ruby Walker (Amrita Acharia) telling love interest Dr Gabriel Varma (James Floyd) that she needed time alone to focus on her work - but that she hoped he'd wait for her.
So will the couple return to continue their relationship? It's looking very likely that both Amrita and James will be a part of season three - in roles similar to those they played in season two.
Amanda Redman also holds one of the leading roles in the popular series. As Dr Lydia Fonseca, she runs the clinic, serving India's sick and unwell population.
As one of the main characters, it's thought that Amanda will also return for season three. It's also believed that Neil Morrisey will return, in his role as Greg.
When willThe Good Karma Hospital season 3 start filming?
ITV have confirmed that filming is set to begin on series three very soon...in August! So it's likely we'll get lots more exciting teasers from then. We're keeping our eyes peeled!
How many episodes will there be?
As with previous seasons, six episodes of the series have been commissioned for season three.
