It’s been 15 years since Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey first delighted fans as, respectively, fairy-tale princess Giselle and real-world divorce lawyer Robert. But good things clearly come to those who wait as the sequel to the Disney classic, Disenchanted, is already in the works and set to be released this upcoming fall on Disney+.

New Yorkers had the chance to preview the magical bond between the two actors as they were spotted kissing on the set of the new movie this week. Unsurprisingly, fans are going crazy over the photo depicting Patrick and Amy, who recently stunned in the Netflix thriller The Woman in the Window, getting cozy in the middle of New York City.

In the much-talked-about photo, Amy is dressed in character, donning a floral-print dress with a red belt and shoes and looking as princess-like as ever. Patrick, 56, also in character, is seen wearing a dark green jacket over khaki pants.

Of course, this behind-the-scenes peek at the movie got us even more excited about its eventual release—but it's been almost two decades since the 2007 opening of Enchanted, so you might need a bit of a memory refresher about the plot of the original production.

At the end of the film, Giselle and Robert obviously fell in love (it's a Disney movie, after all!) and decided to live in New York together. Last week, though, Amy and Patrick were spotted filming the sequel in South East England while she was pushing a baby stroller and donning what many classify as royal garbs. We'll suppose the fictional couple to no longer be permanently living in the United States.

According to official sources, fans can also expect James Marsden and Idina Menzel to reprise their roles as, respectively, Prince Edward and Nancy. The sequel's cast is rounded out by a few new entries, including the always-hilarious Maya Rudolph, Community's Yvette Nicole Brown and Jayma Mays, who fans will likely remember from her role on Glee.

We honestly can't wait for the new movie to drop but, in the meantime, we'll just keep staring at this sweet picture of the two actors on set.
