Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead made it official, tying the knot in a small, outdoor ceremony.

The former Fargo costars were married over the weekend, a source told PEOPLE magazine, in “a small wedding for family and close friends.”

The source explained that the vibe for the wedding was very laid-back and not like other Hollywood nuptials.

"They had an outdoor ceremony. It was lovely and joyful. The menu was farm-to-table. They are an adorable couple. They are pretty low-key and like their canyon life. They often hike and go to the beach."

The wedding comes over four years after they were first romantically linked.

While they are hoping for their happily ever after, things haven’t always been easy for the couple.

When did Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead start dating?

It is understood the pair met while appearing in Fargo together, back in 2016. The two were first papped together publicly at his North London home in 2017.

Trainspotting star Ewan would later separate from wife Eve Mavrakis in 2017 after 22 years of marriage. He filed a request to be declared legally single before going on to finalize the divorce in the summer of 2020.

When the split was first announced, Ewan and Eve’s daughter, Clara, seemingly let her feelings be known, leaving a comment under a photo of the actress from the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscars party.

She wrote, “Most beautiful and talented woman on earth???’ [quoting the account’s caption] Oh man y’all are delusional. The girl is a piece of trash :) x.”

However, tensions might have eased between the blended family since then.

Mary and Ewan welcomed son Laurie in June 2021 and Clara was one of the first to publicly celebrate the bundle of joy.

Clara shared a picture of herself and her new brother on Instagram.

“Welcome to the world little brother. Congratulations to my Dad & Mary—this is the greatest gift,” she wrote.

Mary and Ewan are a private couple, rarely being seen out together or commenting to the press. However, Ewan made a sweet public declaration to Mary while accepting the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series for Netflix’s Halston.

He said, “Mary, I love you so much. I’m gonna take this home and show it to our new little boy, Laurie. And to my beautiful girls, who I know are watching, Clara, Esther, Jamyan and Anouk, hello to you too. Thank you very much, everybody.”
