You can already buy tickets for the Downton Abbey film - find out where
The eagerly anticipated Downton Abbey film is coming to cinemas soon, and we can't wait!
Ever since the series aired back in 2010, it’s been a real hit amongst fans all over the world. The popular period drama ran for 6 seasons, and fans have been begging for its return.
When production was announced on a Downton Abbey feature-length film, we could barely contain our excitement. Seeing the Crawley family on the big screen is going to be quite the experience.
Can we buy tickets for the film already?
Yes! Currently only Picturehouses cinema in London are selling advance tickets, but other cinemas such as Odeon, Vue and Cineworld are likely to follow soon so you can be sure to get your Downton fix as soon as possible.
We're sure fans everywhere will be flocking to their local cinema as soon as 13th September arrives.

The film sees in a very special moment for the Downton estate, as the trailer reveals the Crawleys are expecting a royal visit. This is the key event that will form the plot of the film.

The trailer is full of gorgeous, sweeping visuals, the iconic soundtrack we all know and love, and an enviable wardrobe. The estate is looking gorgeous as ever too, and it’s enough to bring back welcome nostalgia for fans everywhere.
We’re so glad the famed estate will be back on our screens in the near future.

Oh, and Dame Maggie Smith is back with her signature sass, which was one of our personal favourite parts of the entire series. Who doesn’t love the Dowager Countess of Grantham?
The film is distributed by Focus Features, who are all set to release Downton Abbey, the movie, on the 13th September in the UK, with other parts of the world getting it from the 19th onwards.
With original Downton Abbey series director Michael Engler attached to the project, we’re confident it will live up to our expectations.
