Blake Lively reportedly pregnant with her and Ryan Reynolds' fourth child as she says she loves 'creating humans'

Blake Lively has revealed that she's expecting her fourth child with Ryan Reynolds, after appearing on a New York red carpet with what appeared to be a small pregnancy bump. 

The Gossip Girl star shared the exciting baby news at the Forbes Power Women's Summit on Thursday, showing up to the Manhattan event in a stunning gold mini dress covering a rounded tummy. It remains unknown how far along Blake is in her pregnancy, but reports have speculated that the 35-year-old has completed her first trimester. 

Speaking at the business conference last night, The Rhythm Section actor explained that her penchant for reproduction is the same motivating factor behind many of her other passions. 

"I just like to create. Whether that's baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating," she said. "I would love for my kids to see that across all areas."

Blake and her husband Ryan Reynolds already have three daughters, James, seven, Inez, five, and two-year-old Betty. The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, has never been shy about the love of parenting – so much so, that they've hinted at expanding their young family in the past. 

In 2016, Blake joked that she and her hubby are 'breeders'. "You can go on our website and we will give you some of our children," the talented actress quipped. 

Ryan has also previously spoken about taking a 'sabbatical' from his acting career to allow him to fully commit to his role as a father. 

"The biggest thing for me...is that I don’t want to miss this time with my kids,” he said in 2021. "I really enjoy being a present dad. I love taking them to school in the morning, I love picking them up." 

Always one to make a fashion statement, Blake wore a long-sleeved, gold mini dress by Valentino with white platform heels to announce her fourth pregnancy at the Forbes summit. She completed the glamorous ensemble with a white headband, sparkling hoop earrings, and a long white scarf, while letting her signature blonde hair flow loosely over her shoulders. The breathtaking look comes a little over a year since Blake Lively called out fashion brands for unrealistic sizing, after admitting she struggled to fit into her favorite clothes following her third pregnancy.
