Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are reportedly 'hoping for a boy' with baby number four
Blake Lively has announced she and husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting their fourth child together
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are expecting another addition to their ever-growing family - and this time, they're hoping for a little boy, a source has revealed.
The news broke that Blake Lively is having another baby on Thursday, as she revealed she 'loves creating humans' while attending 10th Annual Forbes Power Women's Summit at Lincoln Center in New York City. Blake was photographed looking stunning at the Manhattan event in a gold mini dress covering a rounded tummy.
While it's unclear how far along the star is, reports have speculated that Blake has completed the first trimester. The couple already have three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty (who are seven, five, and two, respectively) - and rumor has it they're hoping for a baby boy as their fourth child.
“They are hoping for a boy this time around,” a source told US weekly. “But, of course, they just want a healthy baby, no matter the gender.”
The source went on to make it clear that no matter whether their fourth child is a girl or a boy, "they love being parents".
Blake announced the news herself yesterday with an Instagram post calling out the paparazzi. She wrote alongside a picture of herself smiling in a swimsuit, "Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a 🦄 sighting will leave me alone. You freak me and my kids out.

"Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children. You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a “No Kids Policy”. You all make all the difference 🙏♥️. Much love! Xxb."

With four kids to look after, the couple are certainly going to have their hands full. So much so, that Blake's husband Ryan Reynolds has previously spoken about taking a 'sabbatical' from his acting career to give him more time with his family.
"The biggest thing for me...is that I don’t want to miss this time with my kids,” he said in 2021. "I really enjoy being a present dad. I love taking them to school in the morning, I love picking them up."
Blake, who has previously joked that she and husband Ryan are "breeders", explained that she "just likes to create" things, whether that's in reference to her work, her hobbies - or another child!
"I just like to create. Whether that's baking or storytelling or businesses or humans, I just really like creating," she said. "I would love for my kids to see that across all areas."
