American Crime Story season 3 retells Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton's affair—meet the impeachment cast
Season 3 will dive back into the secret relationship that shook America
American Crime Story is back for a third season, but this time the true crime anthology series will examine the controversial impeachment trial of President Bill Clinton.
American Crime Story: Impeachment will aim to provide more insight into Monica Lewinsky and Bill Clinton’s relationship that led to his impeachment. While this season will take us back to one of the more controversial events in American presidencies, the latest season, according to a statement by the chairman of FX Networks and FX Productions John Landgraf, “will likewise explore the overlooked dimensions of the women who found themselves caught up in the scandal and political war that cast a long shadow over the Clinton Presidency."
Monica was also involved in the making of the show, according to the series creator Ryan Murphy. Taking on the role of producer, she assisted in looking over scripts to ensure her side of the story told properly. Now with a stacked cast, the show will possibly reframe how most of us have viewed one of the most controversial political events in American history.

Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp
Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones
Edie Falco as Hillary Clinton

What is American Crime Story about?
The anthology series takes a look at controversial true crime stories that have made history. Past seasons have included The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.
“This franchise re-examines some of the most complicated, polarizing stories in recent history in a way that is relevant, nuanced and entertaining," added Landgraf in a press release.
Every season is different including the cast, but there are some series regulars including Sarah Paulson who will appear in season 3 as Linda Tripp–the woman who secretly recorded conversations between Lewinsky and Clinton.
