Adele has sparked engagement rumors after appearing at the BRIT Awards wearing a not-so-subtle rock on her ring finger.
The Oh My God singer stepped out at the London music awards on Tuesday night, for her first public appearance since canceling her Las Vegas residency last month—and surprise, surprise, it's all anybody can talk about.
The Brits—often considered the UK's answer to the Grammys—crowned Adele its unofficial champion yesterday, with the star scooping up prizes for artist of the year and song of the year for 'Easy on Me', as well as album of the year for her fourth studio record, 30.
She also gave viewers a flashback to her iconic Someone Like You performance at the 2011 Brits, taking to the stage for a piano-accompanied recital of the soulful 'I Drink Wine'.
The superstar's career triumphs and impeccable fashion weren't the only things fans were drooling over, though. Adele sparked a fire of engagement rumors after debuting a diamond ring on the Brits' red carpet, leaving fans desperate to know if she's about to say 'I do' for a second time.
The 33-year-old paired her black Armani Privé dress with drop earrings and—wait for it—a colossal rock by Lorraine Schwartz, a celebrity jewelry designer renowned for her luxurious bridal pieces. It wasn't long before eagle-eyed Internet scrollers spotted the glitzy hand candy and began to speculate on the future of Adele's love life.

Ermm… Did Adele just casually let the world know she’s engaged to Rich Paul by wearing this WHOPPER teardrop diamond ring at the #Brits !?? 💍😍 pic.twitter.com/nohFev61SxFebruary 8, 2022
Adele's boyfriend Rich Paul was thrust into the spotlight when the Tottenham native confirmed their relationship on Instagram last year—and it looks like he's not about to fade into the shadows any time soon.
The A-list couple has reportedly been dating for about six months, having met for the first time when the singer was still married to ex-husband Simon Konecki.
Adele finalized her divorce from the British charity CEO in 2021 and continues to co-parent their son, Angelo, with him in Los Angeles. Despite admitting to being 'devastated' by the split, the hopeful romantic hasn't turned her back on exchanging vows altogether. She revealed she's "open to marriage again" in a Sirius XM interview in November last year, before adding, "The feeling I had, in being married, was the safest feeling I’ve ever had in my life."
