Somali-born supermodel Iman Bowie has said she will never remarry after her ‘true loves ‘death. The successful model, who made a name for herself in the modelling industry, married music legend David Bowie in 1992. After his death in 2016 Iman opened up about their personal relationship in a recent interview speaking on her undying love for now deceased husband.
Iman has chosen to remain single for the foreseeable future as her love for David still resonates till today. "David is in our hearts and minds on a daily basis, for all of us" she revealed. The mother of two says she never knew what love was until she met David saying 'you know, this was my true love".
When asked by her daughter Alexandria Jones if she'd ever marry again Iman simply said, “never”.
Gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar, Iman talks of the day of David's passing, "On the day of his passing, I went on a hike, and a bluebird flew in front of me. A bluebird, above all things."
Four years on, Iman recalls her husband's 18-month battle with cancer as she continues keeping his memory alive. Sharing intimate videos and rare photographs of their family life on social media alongside heartfelt tributes.

Now 65, Iman describes her relationship with her late husband as an ordinary everyday marriage, nothing overly extravagant, just two people who deeply loved one another. The star has taken up a number of hobbies to continue on the beautiful life they created together. She currently spends her time painting and hiking following her husband’s death and has implied she does get lonely, although she is extremely fond of her alone time.
