This relaxation-inducing Holland & Barrett launch is set to make your autumn – and it’s under £10!
Whatever the time of year, few things ease away the stresses and strains of the day quite like a long, hot, soak.
And while a bath brimming with bubbles would have been all the rage in years gone by, 2019 is all about a generous sprinkling of Epsom Salts and a bath caddy with just enough space to prop up our favourite book and glass of vino.
In fact, recent figures from Market Research Future have revealed that our love affair with Epsom Salts is only continuing to grow, with this market set to climb by 4.23 per cent between 2017 and 2027.
With a number of purported benefits from relaxation to detoxing, it’s no wonder that Epsom Salts have also proved a hit with celebs who are looking to unwind from a hectic day in front of the media spotlight.
In a past interview with Elle Magazine, award-winning actress and founder of the Goop lifestyle Gwyneth Paltrow revealed, “I take a bath every night in regular Epsom salts from the drug store Dr. Teal’s, which is great for…purity of the skin and relaxation to get al the energy of the day off.”
If it’s good enough for A-lister’s it’s good enough for us we say! And the good news for those who are fans of Epsom Salts is that leading brand Westlab is debuting a Festive Bathing Salts this autumn.
Hitting shelves in Holland & Barrett on October 16th priced at £6.99 – yep we’ve marked the date in our diaries – the range includes a Pink Gin variety, that’s as exciting as it sounds.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer the luxury edition of this cult bath time classic, making it a perfect gift or stocking filler for all gin and natural beauty lovers!”
And the good news doesn’t stop there, the range also includes a Mulled Wine – yes you read that right – and Peace on Earth variety.
