Bloom Gin has made a lovely gesture towards anyone who has had to postpone their wedding due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The London dry gin brand announced that they would be offering free miniature bottles of their popular gin for brides and grooms to give away as wedding favours to all of their guests when they are finally able to have their big day.
Anybody who was supposed to have their wedding day from 16th March (just over two weeks ago) but has had to cancel or postpone because of the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic can claim the lovely gesture via the brand’s website.
Broadcasting the sweet move on their Instagram page in order to get the move to as many affected couples as possible, the brand wrote, ‘We know that lots of you have had to postpone your big day due to COVID-19.
‘And while it’s no consolation for all the hard work, planning and saving that’s gone into arranging your dream wedding, we’re offering FREE 5cl BLOOM Gin miniatures as wedding favours for those who have had to move weddings due to take place from 16th March.
‘You might notice that our website states from 30th April,’ they went on to clarify, ‘but we’ve taken on board the feedback from disappointed brides due to marry earlier than 30th April and our website will be updated to reflect this today’.
The company added that, naturally, only those over the age of 18 can apply and that amazingly they are holding the generous offer all the way until 30th November this year.
We think these gorgeous mint green miniatures would look amazing in any wedding setting – so it’s a great deal to claim!
Social media users were astounded by the generous move, taking to the comments section to praise the brand.
‘Just a totally fabulous thing to do 👏,’ wrote one, while another commented, ‘Such a lovely idea 💕👏’.
Many couples even took to the post to share their own stories of how the pandemic outbreak has affected their big days.
‘This is amazing!’ wrote one prospective bride. ‘Such a good idea during such an awful time. We made the decision to postpone our 13.06.2020 to 12.06.2021 over the weekend and are gutted. All our suppliers have been amazing though 💛💛💛’.
‘🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 Ours was supposed to be 29.03.20 we had a virtual party with our family, friends and lots of fizz 🥂💕,’ commented another. ‘We rescheduled for Feb 2021 👰🏽🤵🏼🥂’.
‘Such a lovely idea,’ added another. ‘We’ve postponed from 23rd May 2020 to 13th March 2021. Disappointed but want everyone there to be happy and healthy so it’s worth the postponement for that. 💕’.
Well done to Bloom Gin for making such a lovely gesture!
