It's officially November, which means that Christmas, and all the festivities that come with it, are just around the corner.
And of course, nothing says ‘festive period’ more than a Christmas party – whether it be with your work colleagues, friends, or family members.
With all of those upcoming events, organising your wardrobe and finding the perfect outfit for each event can be a tricky undertaking.
But luckily, Lorraine Kelly has provided us with all the inspriation we need for our Christmas wardrobe.
On a recent episode of her early morning show, the popular presenter wowed viewers in a stunning floral velvet dress, which she finished off with a pair of red Aldo heels.
Fans loved the outfit choice, with one commenting on social media, ‘Very classy, love the dress’. While another said, ‘Like the dress today.’
And the gown is, in our eyes, perfect for all of those social occasions you have coming up. Its long sleeves and midi-length ensure you won’t be cold in the chilly weather – while the dress’s simple wrap-around detail, velvet material, and bold print guarantee you’ll be the most fashion-forward one at the party.
So where can you get your hands on Lorraine’s dress? Well, it’s actually available on the high-street!
The dress is from one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite designers, Preen, who have designed an affordable range of clothes for Debenhams – Studio by Preen.
It’s on sale for £89. But if that’s a little bit more than you might want to spend on a party outfit, keep in mind that this chic dress is as versatile as it is show-stopping.
If you want to get more wear out of it, past the annual office shingdig, it could easily be styled down with a pair of boots and a relaxed leather jacket for less formal occasions.
You could also take inspiration from the Debenhams styling team, and pair yours with a roll-neck jumper underneath – to restyle it, and keep yourself extra cosy in winter.
At the moment, the dress is still available in all sizes online, from a 6 to an 18. It’s also available in selected Debenhams stores, if you fancy buying it in person.
So will you be snapping it up for your wardrobe?
