You might assume a Hollywood celebrity's skincare arsenal makes home to an assortment of high-end products with hefty price tags, but that's not always the case.

It's not every day that you get to take a peek into an A-lister's beauty routine, but Demi Moore's makeup artist gave us that exact opportunity as she lifted the lid on the best face moisturiser, best hyaluronic acid serum, and Korean face masks she uses to give the actress' skin an enviable glow before hitting the red carpet.

The one thing that ties them all together? Each formula is the innovative creation of one affordable K-beauty brand – and it just so happens to be one of our Beauty Writers' favourite skincare brands too...

As for how we got this insight into Demi Moore's skincare routine, the actress' makeup artist, Rokael Lizama, posted a detailed rundown of her red carpet makeup look on Instagram last November. In the caption, Lizama noted her step-by-step process, including the exact products she used from the popular K-beauty brand, Dr.Althea.

To begin the process, Lizama opted for one of Dr.Althea's most popular and bestselling buys, the 345 Relief Cream, "to prime and prep her skin." Interestingly, the makeup artist then applied the Jelly Seal Dewy Mask over the top of the moisturiser "to lock in extra moisture and hydration."

To further boost Moore's radiant complexion, her makeup artist then revealed her top tip to create a healthy, dewy effect: "I then mixed a few drops of the AquaMarine Deep Serum into her foundation and applied it on her skin [and décolletage] to create a glowing, dewy finish." Finally, Lizama spritzed the brand's 345 Relief Cream Mist over Demi's complexion in order to "rehydrate and return the skin-like finish to her look."

But it's not just Demi Moore who is a fan of this K-beauty brand; in fact, it's a favourite of our very own woman&home Digital Beauty Writer, Sennen Prickett, too. "As someone with sensitive-prone skin, Dr Althea is one of my all-time favourite Korean skincare brands thanks to their ever so gentle yet effective formulas. They are packed full of nourishing ingredients to help hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier, while encouraging the most gorgeous radiant glow."

As for which formulas earn a spot in Sennen's routine, she notes: "Some of my favourite products include the Jelly Seal Dewy Mask, 345 Relief Cream and the Pure Grinding Cleansing Balm," she says.
