Ruth Langsford shows off the ‘ingenious’ gadget she uses for doing her own hair on This Morning

Very snazzy!

The coronavirus lockdown means the behind the scenes crew working on This Morning has been stripped down to the essentials.

This means that the hair stylists and make-up artists usually on hand to get the presenters glammed up before going on air are nowhere to be seen.

Ruth Langsford has had to take matters into her own hands before taking to our screens to host the show alongside husband Eamonn Holmes this week.

The telly star headed to Instagram this morning to show off the super clever gadget she uses for perfecting her locks before chatting to the nation all morning.

Filming herself in her ITV dressing room, Ruth said, “Good morning, I’m about to start my own hair and make-up again!

Displaying the heated roller set she uses to keep her hair looking sleek and full of volume, she explained, “Lots of you were asking me about my rollers. It’s this machine, it’s the O Cloud Nine and these rollers.

“You pop them in and that heats up. Very clever, there you go, it’s ready,” she demonstrated, holding up the beauty tool up to the camera.

“Okay, so here we go, starting hair and make-up. God, I look awful,” Ruth laughed.

‘For those of you asking....these are the heated rollers I use...it’s an ingenious machine! Ok... here I go...wish me luck! 💄👩🏻🦰,’ she penned beside the social media upload.
