Charlotte Tilbury’s new foundation already has 17,000 people on its waiting list

And when it's a new best foundation launch that comes hand in hand with a convincing name, a makeup genius behind the formula and a gorgeous bottle we just want to stare at all day, we’re definitely sold.

So the new Charlotte Tilbury foundation had us all in a tizzy when it was announced last month via Instagram.

Aside from the fact that pretty much everything delivered by the British makeup artist and brand founder is a home run when it comes to achieving a red carpet-worthy look, the new full-coverage foundation particularly caught our eye for its promises to leave our skin moisturised, airbrushed and, most intriguingly, with fewer signs of wrinkles.

So we weren’t surprised when we discovered that in just a few weeks the product has built up a waitlist of thousands of fans hoping to get their hands on it.

The hybrid base has raked up a waiting list of around 17,000 makeup enthusiasts hoping to get a swipe or two of this high-end formula, developed to be one of the best foundations for mature skin.

The Airbrush Flawless Foundation, which comes in a massive 44 shades so that users can be perfectly matched, is said to infuse skincare ingredients into its makeup to give customers a foundation that attempts to care for the skin at the same time as covering up imperfections.

The formula was even proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to 22 per cent when tested on a group of men and women, thanks to its ‘Ground-breaking Magic Replexium®️ Serum’ and it boosts moisture in the skin by 216 per cent with its own blend.

The glowing matte base also uses a unique formula of natural ingredients to protect your skin by creating a shield against environmental pollutants.
