Paris Hilton's wedding dress was as glam as would be expected from Hollywood royalty and, ahead of the event, her mom Kathy Hilton revealed the most adorable secret.

Choosing the best wedding gifts for the bride that has everything is no easy task but, for Paris, there's nothing like a thoughtful surprise from her mama.

Paris previously revealed that her wedding was to be a three-day affair while speaking to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show and that she planned to bring all the style expected of a Hollywood heiress.

"We have a lot happening," she said. "Lots of dresses, probably 10. I love outfit changes."

The most cherished of these looks is sure to be her main dress, a stunning custom Oscar De La Renta gown, which contained a secret gift from her mom, who told the Daily Blast Live all about it.

Kathy, who has become a fan favorite on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is truly a stickler for traditions. "You know how you are supposed to have something old?" she said. "I am having something sewn into her wedding dress that's going to be a big surprise. I can't tell you yet, but it's going to be very special."

The proud mom also revealed that she planned on having Paris spend the night before the wedding at her house.

"She must spend the night here with us the night before," Kathy said. "That's a tradition."

Paris married Carter Reum on November 11, 2021.

Carter is an American author, venture capitalist, and entrepreneur who's also a part of a wealthy dynasty. His dad Bob was the former president, chairman, and CEO of Chicago-based Amsted Industries, one of the largest private enterprises in the US, and currently valued at $4B (£3B).

Apart from their mutual love and adoration, the couple both share their hard work ethic and are successful in their own right.

According to HOLA! the 40-year-old is doing quite well himself, being worth around $40M (£29.9M). This is of course pales in comparison to his bride, also aged 40, who has a $300M (£224M)personal fortune.

Reum attended the highly respected Ivy League college, Columbia, and started out at Goldman Sachs before launching his own businesses and investing in established companies including Snapchat and Rothys.

Carter and Paris began dating in 2019 and just over a year later, they were engaged. The proposal happened on a private island during Paris' 40th birthday celebrations.

The pair were already dressed in all white when he got down on one knee with a ring believed to be worth between $1.5 and $3 million. The stunning piece was designed by Jean Dousset, the great-grandson of Louis Cartier.

Ahead of their big day, Paris Hilton spoke out about her deeply personal IVF journey with 'dream guy' Carter Reum. Only months later their nuptials were held at a stunning Bel-Air estate, which previously belonged to her late grandfather Barron Hilton.

On the November 11 episode of the This is Paris podcast, Reum said, "It is definitely going to be your fairytale wedding," adding, "That first kiss and that first hug and as we always say, the electric bolts that are going to shoot between us—I'm going to think about all those memories."
