Dawn French has delighted fans with her recent post as she makes a cheeky innuendo to celebrate the launch of her latest project.

Dawn French has delighted fans as she has announced the latest series of her podcast Titting About with a fun caption that has a dirty double meaning.

The caption of the post read, "Finished Titting About 3 @freshairstudios with @kickboxerlad & @burgess.moon @sirsimonnicholls coming your way soon! @audible_uk We always celebrate with a glass of Fanni & a pink finger…"

Fans loved this hilarious comment from the comic actress and many took to the comment section to share their reaction.

"Everyone should celebrate the end of the day with a Fanni and Pink Finger 🙌🏼" said one fan.

"Where I come from in Sussex 😂😂those “pink fingers” are called sticky willies," said another commenter adding to the fun.

Other fans were also delighted to hear that they wouldn't have to wait much longer for the newest podcast release from Dawn French and her long-term comedy partner and co-host, Jennifer Saunders.

"I can’t wait to listen! I laughed so much at the last 2 series! I laugh out loud on the train and in the street, I look like a loony!" said one commenter. "Fantastic! I love my journey to work on a morning with a bit of Titting About!" said another.

The comedian has often used her social media as a place of fun and levity and recently Dawn French's nude selfie shocked fans as the comic posted images of herself in the bath.

Dawn was forced to deny claims that she lost six stone in four months and has spoken openly about her weight loss journey and the pressure from society to lose weight.

In 2020, the actress said on the Titting About podcast, "I've gone back to being an entire barrel but do you know what, I'm going to be 63 this year, I don't give a f**k, I really don't, so long as I can walk."

"I'm not going to be stingy to myself anymore. I never did dislike anything about my body, even when I was very, very fat. I refuse to be forced to dislike myself."
