Wimbledon may be over, but it's still giving us plently of inspiration when it comes to our summer beauty must-haves.

Leona Lewis was glowing for Day 11 of the championships. Her elegant white maxi dress is a fail-safe outfit for July's hot, humid weather - and she has another summer staple that's almost certainly going to be a new addition to our beauty bags this season.

This singer's skin looked radiant while sitting courtside, so we were keen to track down the possible secret behind her fresh complexion.

Speaking to Red Online in 2020, Leona revealed she swears by one of the best face oils to get her healthy glow. She even used it on her wedding day, with it fitting seamlessly into her "low-maintenance" routine.

I don't go anywhere without my best sunglasses during the summer months. Frankly, I carry them most days when it's cold, too.

Not to be all Anna Wintour about it, but aside from the obvious protection from the sun they offer, I love to wear them in photographs, use them to push my hair back from my face, and I feel that little bit more confident when I'm not wearing make-up but I do have a pair of sunglasses on hand. They even look great when you're not wearing them, tucked down a t-shirt or shirt.

We're rarely short of shades inspiration, since A-listers love to hide behind some statement sunnies. But the glamorous Gucci pair that Jodie Foster was wearing for her visit to Wimbledon is the chicest style I've seen in a long while.

She was photographed enjoying the tennis at Wimbledon from the prestigious Royal Box, alongside the likes of Sienna Miller. She chose this floral printed shirt dress by Altuzzara for the occasion, but it was her face-flattering frames that really caught my eye (pun very much intended...).

One of the biggest sunglasses trends of 2025, you really can't go too far wrong with a cat-eye style. Suitable for most face shapes, I love the squared-off edges and Gucci logo detailing on the arms of Jodie's style.

If you struggle to know which style of sunglasses will suit you, a cat-eye shape like Jodie's is well worth a try. Generally speaking, designer pairs will have more longevity than cheaper styles, but most importantly, always check the level of UV protection, so you know those sunglasses are doing their job..

I’ve loved seeing all the Wimbledon fashion this year. Over the last two weeks, A-list audience members have served up some of the biggest spring/summer fashion trends, and there has been plenty more to look at than just the classic whites and traditional shirt dresses that are usually associated with the tennis event.

Vanessa Williams really broke the mould with her outfit choice, which looks like a jumpsuit, but is actually a matching top and trouser set. The star, who is currently starring as Miranda Priestly in the stage version of The Devil Wears Prada (if you haven't seen it yet, you must!), opted for a co-ord by one of our favourite British clothing brands and a Royal Family favourite, The Fold.

Her co-ord was like a technicolour explosion of pattern and rainbow shades. The separates made a statement while looking chic, and Vanessa styled them nicely with scarlet heels and a pared-back red bag by another one of Kate Middleton's favourite brands, LK Bennett.

The incredible fabric is actually a Liberty print, just not as you know it. According to the The Fold's website, it's "a reimagination of the store’s Studio Bohemia print, a design created from a medley of scarves dating back to the 1970s that can be found in the Liberty archive.

"We’ve shrunk the scale of the pattern but kept its intricacies – with playful paisleys, bold geometrics and art-nouveau florals creating a cacophony of pattern."

You probably know The Fold for its well-tailored workwear, but this print proves it should be your go-to if you're looking for the best wedding guest dresses or mother of the bride outfits, too.

I adore Vanessa's joyful ensemble, and I challenge you not to smile when looking at it. If you like the look but feel a little daunted about wearing such busy prints, there are easy ways to tone them down. Try wearing a patterned piece with fresh white or soft cream tones, and denim will always add a relaxed vibe to a dressier top.

If you're feeling extra brave, you could wear your multi-patterned item with block coloured trousers or a jacket in a shouty shade. Just avoid adding more print into your look, and keep your accessories to a minimum, to keep things chic rather than OTT and clashy. Simple jewellery and classic shoes are all you'll need to finish your statement-makers.

When it comes to deciding what to wear to Wimbledon, every guest has done their own thing this year. Rather than just conventional white pieces, the A-list spectators have worn all kinds of colours from bubblegum pink to sunshine yellow, and there has been plenty of prints and fun accessories along the way too.

Oti Mabuse is the latest star to decide against classic white staples while watching the tennis action, and instead, the star opted for a sporty-inspired navy dress with a contrast collar and trim. The polo-shirt neckline gave her dress a preppy feel, but Oti’s choice of fresh white court shoes helped to balance it out for a glam finish. The whole look was simple yet seriously stylish, and although it may look designer, Oti’s two-tone piece is actually from her REAKTIV range for TU at Sainsbury’s – yes really!

The dancer looked absolutely gorgeous in the dark blue design, and you can too, as the dress (which is a bargain at just £22!) is still available to buy. I’ve listed it along with some other polo shirt dresses below.

The casual feel of Oti’s dress is perfect for daytime plans and can work well with everything from sneakers to chunky sandals. But the shorter length also lends itself well to evening wear and can be dressed up as a date night outfit, or for weekend drinks. Add plain heels like the Strictly Come Dancing star or try matching navy strappy sandals and finish with a pair of dangly earrings.

Oti posted a clip of the dress on her Instagram, with the caption "Of course I turned up to Wimbledon in my Tu Clothing Reaktiv Navy Tennis Dress. I’ll be back next year", and fans immediately commented on how amazing she looked, calling her outfit: "the perfect dress" and "the most fabulous dress".

As well as being a huge tennis fan, the Princess of Wales is a skilled player herself – as we've seen on several occasions. She is also the current Patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and traditionally presents the trophies to the Wimbledon winners and runner's up.

Nick Kyrgios, the Australian tennis star who took the sport by storm with his divisive comments and "bad boy" persona, was one such player. He received the runner's up trophy from Kate in 2022 and whilst many sportsmen would love to receive words of praise from the Princess, his response was reportedly rather blunt.

As per the Daily Mail Australia, Nick apparently revealed that, when the pair met on Wimbledon's Centre Court, the Princess told him "Great work, well played," which allegedly left him thinking, "What would you know?"

It might seem quite blunt, but we’re sure the Princess, as a keen tennis player herself, and someone who has been described by Prince William as highly competitive, would understand Nick’s frustrations.

"In that moment, after losing the tournament, Nick's disappointment is understandable," says woman&home's Royal Editor, Emma Shacklock. "As I understand it, the star didn't actually respond like this out loud, which is probably for the best.

"The Princess's encouragement was no doubt meant to lift his spirits and to express her genuine admiration for his performance. It might not have been the outcome he wanted, but Kate appreciated his skill all the same."

Kyrgios narrowly lost the title to Novak Djokovic and he ended up mentioning the Princess during his time acting as a commentator for the BBC TV coverage of Wimbledon 2024. She arrived in the Royal Box to watch the Men's Singles Final alongside her sister Pippa and daughter Princess Charlotte.

While commentating, he supposedly said, "Maybe I’m a little bit too volatile, but look, I’ve got a lot of time on my hands at the moment so I’m happy to coach [the Princess of Wales]. It’ll be more fun being coached by me than it would by Federer!"

Nick’s comments perhaps allude to the fact that Roger Federer, the former World Number One tennis legend, has forged a friendship with the Princess and her family over the years.

In 2023, the pair faced off in a game of tennis to promote the upcoming tournament, and Federer even called Kate’s serve "amazing" as she scored a point against him.

Roger Federer also revealed in 2019 that he’d given Prince George, the eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, tennis lessons. These reportedly took place at Carole and Michael Middleton’s Berkshire home.

He joined Kate in the Royal Box at Wimbledon in 2023 and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The future Queen got one of her own last July as she took her seat in the Royal Box. The Princess’s appearance at the tournament was only her second public appearance after she made her cancer diagnosis public in early 2024.

She might not have made her first appearance at Wimbledon 2025 yet, but I would expect the Princess of Wales to attend at least one of the finals this weekend. It’s likely she won’t do so alone, either. In 2022, Prince George made his Wimbledon debut alongside his mum and both he and Princess Charlotte were there a year later.

Things were a little different in 2024, when Princess Charlotte enjoyed a day at the tennis without her siblings. According to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Kate had sworn to take her after feeling "guilty" about the amount of time she had been spending with her children whilst she was undergoing her cancer treatment.

"It was a long-held promise that Kate would take Charlotte to the finals as a special treat," Ingrid claimed to The Sun. "Kate felt guilty she hadn’t been able to spend as much time as she would have liked to be with the kids because of her exhaustion after her treatment."

Earlier this year, the future Queen confirmed that she was in remission, four months after she first announced she’d completed her chemotherapy. Throughout her recovery journey, she’s been very open about the impact of her diagnosis, not only upon her, but upon her family.

Speaking recently during a visit to the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital, Kate also candidly discussed how, whilst you might want your life to return to "normal", this post-treatment phase can be very "difficult". She has been easing back in royal life so far in 2025 whilst still spending as much time with George, Charlotte, and Louis as possible.

Fulfilling her promise to Charlotte to take her to the tennis last July was a lovely opportunity to enjoy precious time with her daughter at an event that means a lot to both of them.

As Ingrid suggested, it was a "special treat" for the then-nine-year-old, who is an avid tennis fan too. The expert declared, "Charlotte has always loved tennis, and mum Kate took her to Hurlingham when she was quite young to play tennis there. Tennis is a big family thing on both sides."

Last year’s Men’s Singles Finals marked only the second time the Princess had been glimpsed publicly in 2024, so it was a very highly anticipated moment. Kate’s arrival in the Royal Box was met with thunderous cheers from the packed stands, and Ingrid thinks having Charlotte there was not only lovely for the Princess, but helped her mum too.

"It is a super special day for Kate to be able to share it with Charlotte, and much more fun for her to have Charlotte there and explain to her the details of what is going on. It’s also a distraction so she does not feel she is full and centre of everyone’s attention," alleged Ingrid, who is Editor-in-Chief of Majesty magazine.

In her view, Princess Charlotte was "there to deflect things away" from Kate, too, and the Princess of Wales was "determined to be at Wimbledon on finals day if she possibly could". Having her daughter and sister with her was likely a source of comfort too, given how big an occasion it was after months out of the public eye.

Opening up on the 2017 documentary, Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon, the Princess described Wimbledon as "a quintessential part of the English summer" that was "very much part" of her childhood. In light of this, it makes sense that she will be there to present a trophy again when Wimbledon 2025 ends.

Each year the Wimbledon fashion moments captivate many of us as much as the tennis does and there are some key pieces we always see. These include espadrille wedges, straw sunhats and plenty of breezy Little White Dresses.

The Duchess of Edinburgh went for perhaps the most classic combination of all, though, when she stepped out in a white blazer and sunglasses. These two things are quintessential Wimbledon as throughout the British summer an extra layer and sun protection are both a must.

It’s a popular duo for so many people, including Duchess Sophie’s fellow royals. Her blazer was by Altuzarra and she kept it on throughout as she watched the matches from the Royal Box.

Double-breasted and impeccably tailored, the Indiana blazer is about as timeless as it gets. The fabric is crease-resistant which is always a bonus and the lapels are notched. There are two practical flap pockets on the front and the buttons are cream.

Whilst you might not wear something quite so bright white with your best wedding guest dresses, a white blazer is a great option for plenty of other occasions. The structure of them brings a smart feel to an outfit and they’d work for garden parties, christenings and date nights.

Carole Middleton is a big fan of wearing white blazers to Wimbledon, as is Zara Tindall. Over the years so many other high-profile attendees have worn this item too, from Emma Watson, to Clara Amfo, Alexa Chung and Zendaya.

Duchess Sophie layered her white blazer over a Proenza Schouler navy floral dress and wore dark sunglasses by Cartier. Whether or not you’re interested in the latest sunglasses trends, black sunnies are a lovely option and rectangular styles like this regularly come back into fashion.

The senior royal was seen taking hers on and off as the weather changed and pushed them on top of her head for a while. The lenses were a dark charcoal grey which subtly contrasted against the pure black frames.

Since guests in the Royal Box are asked not to wear hats to avoid obscuring the view of the people behind them, you often see people wearing sunglasses to shield their eyes from the glare of the sun instead. It’s easy to think of shades only as a practical addition to an ensemble, but they make a lot of difference style-wise too.

The Duchess’s sunglasses had minimal red detailing and the arms were thin and streamlined. Delicate frames work better with floaty dresses as they match their daintiness, whilst I prefer wearing chunky-framed shades with structured pieces like tailored co-ords or jeans.

Ultimately, no matter which designs you choose, you can’t go wrong with a white blazer and dark sunglasses combo as something to wear to Wimbledon. Compared to the Princess of Wales, we don’t see Sophie at the championships as consistently or frequently.

This will most likely be her first and only appearance and she looked comfortable and elegant in her outfit as she watched the matches unfold on court.

If anyone understands what to wear to Wimbledon, it's former tennis player, turned radio and TV presenter, Annabel Croft. Spotted over the weekend, courtside in SW19, Annabel nailed the smart casual outfit brief in a pale blue pleated dress by Boss, paired with statement trainers.

The presenter's dress, which looks most likely to be this Boss design, echoed the knife pleats, heavily associated with tennis skirts, while the fitted t-shirt top gave the outfit a distinctly sporty feel. Upping the designer element of her look, Annabel's sports luxe ensemble was complemented by bold Gucci trainers that featured the brand's signature red and green web stripe.

Delivering a more directional feel, Annabel's trainers featured a platform sole, offering a little bit of extra height, without the discomfort of wearing heels. The best white trainers are always an excellent option for smart-casual occasions and of course had a more laidback feel to polished dresses.

Adding a sporty vibe to Annabel's smart dress, the match of white trainers and a pretty dress is one that has continued to gain popularity over the last five years. Adding longevity to more partywear leaning pieces, adding relaxed footwear adds polish to your shoes, while giving your pretty a dress a more laidback feel, answering that tricky dress code of smart-casual perfectly.

When it comes to selecting trainers to wear with dresses, your safest bet is nearly always a white pair of trainers, as this neutral shoe design goes with everything and feels fresh, every time.

The classic Gucci trainer with green and red stripes has been around for a number of years, and their staying power shows no signs of abating, making them an excellent choice when it comes to designer flats.

I've pulled together some of my favourite Gucci trainers - including an exact match for Annabel's platform style, alongside other white trainers that evoke the same feel, but at a fraction of the price.

When it comes to the shoe trends for 2025, it's an unspoken rule that white trainers will never go out of fashion. Particularly poignant for Wimbledon ensembles, thanks to their hue, this smart casual footwear choice should reside in every capsule wardrobe.

Although Annabel's choice is perhaps not the most quiet when it comes to this look, the overwhelmingly white design still translates into a supremely wearable shoe that will add a laidback cool to any look it is paired with.

Make sure to keep you white trainers looking as fresh as possible, cleaning regularly and storing carefully, as this look is best when it appears as new as possible.

The stand-out Wimbledon fashion moments are coming thick and fast as the second week of the championships begins and Gabby Logan just excelled herself with a chic polka dot outfit. Although it could easily pass as one of the best jumpsuits you’ve seen all summer, the broadcaster was actually wearing the Elsie blouse and trousers by LK Bennett.

They’re both made from satin crepe fabric and the blouse has buttons covered in matching material to create a polished finish. For a more demure look, you can fasten it right up to the top of the collared neckline, though Gabby left a few buttons undone for a slightly more relaxed feel.

The Elsie blouse also features short sleeves and a peplum-esque frill that drapes beautifully over the waistband of the matching trousers. The flared shape of these complements the fitted blouse and they’re high-waisted.

Gabby Logan wore the set together on Day 8 of Wimbledon, though the beauty of a two-piece is how you can get a lot of wear out of each item separately as well as combined. This makes co-ord very versatile as you can mix and match them to your hearts’ content.

Styled as one complete outfit, the polka dot pattern on Gabby’s blouse and trousers was even more striking, though. The base colour was a deep navy blue with delicate, tiny white dots evenly spaced across both pieces.

Everything about the design felt very considered and polka dots are one of the Princess of Wales’s favourite prints to wear. She especially loves a navy and white combination and given how timeless her style is, she wouldn’t wear spots unless they were a classic.

I can totally imagine her wearing Gabby Logan’s Wimbledon co-ord instead of a summer dress, as it fulfils the same smart-casual criteria and appeals to her love of tailoring too. The presenter draped a white blazer over her shoulders which brought an extra touch of glamour to her ensemble, as well as more coverage on this changeable July day.

Her shoes were black and white and although a lot of people aren’t fans of mixing navy and black, they worked here because you only saw a hint of the toe underneath her flares. The pointed toes of her shoes created a lovely leg-elongating effect and Gabby carried a tri-colour handbag for a pop of colour.

This was the Trunkaroo medium shoulder bag by Marni and although the shoulder strap is detachable and adjustable, she didn’t remove it but still carried it as a clutch under her arm. It was big enough for all tennis essentials, possibly including a case for her sunglasses.

Gabby Logan had clear-framed shades to protect her eyes from the sun and she finished off her outfit with a necklace featuring the initials of her children, Lois and Reuben.

Her chic take on polka dots was a very different look to the dress she wore to SW19 last year. In July 2024, Gabby wore an Isabel Marant Baga printed dress covered with a paisley-esque purple print that looked almost like thistles.

There have been several occasions over the years where Carole Middleton and the Princess of Wales have worn very similar outfits - and sometimes even the exact same design, like their bright pink ME+EM dress. These instances tend to be years apart, but Carole’s look for Day 8 of Wimbledon instantly reminded me of a much more recent outfit of Kate’s.

On 2nd July the future Queen visited the RHS Wellbeing Garden at Colchester Hospital wearing a taupe and white striped shirt by Ralph Lauren. Following in her daughter’s footsteps, Carole attended the tennis just five days later in a striped dress by Beulah London.

This is one of the best British clothing brands for luxurious quality and impeccable attention to detail and Kate has a few pieces by them too. Carole’s dress was the Helena style and is part of the Beulah x VCH limited-edition collection.

It comes in several colours and patterns, though her toffee-brown and white striped version is my favourite as these tones are most versatile. The dress is made from handwoven cotton poplin, with long sleeves, a button-up front and an ageless shirt collar.

The bodice and skirt are lined for comfort and coverage and there’s a subtle tier on the skirt that gives it extra shaping. This is one of those summer dresses that looks sophisticated, but not so formal that you couldn’t dress it down day-to-day.

To make a striped shirt dress like Carole’s more relaxed I’d go for sporty white trainers and layer a white or blue denim jacket over the top. At Wimbledon she went a little smarter with her sandals and a matching top handle bag.

It was such an easy breezy ensemble and the stripes were the star of the show. The taupe and white hues had me thinking back to the Princess of Wales’s Ralph Lauren shirt, which closely resembled it.

Kate showcased neutral stripes even more at Colchester Hospital as she styled her shirt with a beige and white striped blazer over the top. Like her mum, she went for minimal accessories and allowed the stripes to be the focal point of her outfit.

Blue and white stripes are a more common combination for shirts and shirt dresses, though Carole and Kate have proved that beiges, camels and creams are every bit as stunning and easy to wear. Given how much influence they both have on fashion trends, I wouldn’t be surprised if neutral stripes are set to be the go-to print of the summer.

They’re one of the most timeless patterns and make a change to polka dots or florals for the season. If you’re inspired by these two outfits and want to know how to start with styling stripes then I’d go for a shirt like Kate’s and wear it with trousers and jeans.

When you’re more comfortable with the print then a full stripy dress would be a great option for picnics, garden parties and BBQs. The Beulah London frock was Carole Middleton’s first Wimbledon 2025 look and it’s possible she could attend again before the final, as she’s a huge tennis fan and regularly goes more than once a year.

There's nothing more elevated than all-white styling in the warmer months, and Amanda Holden's recent attire offers the perfect outfit formula that you can easily recreate. Wearing a puff sleeve blouse tucked into white denim, this outfit reminds us that less is more when it comes to smart-casual outfit ideas.

Figuring out what to wear in the heat can be a challenge, but the all-white dressing is one of the easiest ways to stay cool and feel sophisticated. Opt for breezy, loose silhouettes and natural fibres like cotton or linen on warmer days. In terms of accessories, think simple leather belts, gold-tone jewellery, and slingback heels, just like Amanda's recent look.

Spotted in London last week, Amanda wore a fitted white blouse with puff sleeves from Zara that's tucked into loose barrel-leg jeans, and to finish, a leather B-buckle belt by Victoria Beckham, a Gucci white crossbody bag, and some white slingback stilettos.

White jeans outfits are the backbone of any good summer capsule wardrobe, and by colour-matching your white denim with crisp blouses, t-shirts, or button-ups, you can immediately create an elevated outfit that works for both the daytime and the evening, too.

The key to wearing all-white is to play with layers, textures, and silhouettes. Opt for a barrel leg silhouette for a more sculptural standout feel. Style with a waist-cinching belt, and on the top, look for staples with added design details such as puff sleeves or subtle embroidery.

What's great about an outfit formula like this is how easy it is to recreate and how it works for almost any occasion, from the weekends to office days. The bright white colour feels elevated and occasion-ready, whilst the white denim signals that it's not too dressy for casual lunch dates or weekend outings. Swap out your heels for your comfortable trainers for a daytime outfit for a laid-back look.

She might be best known as the Queen of Baking, but Dame Mary Berry’s signature style is nothing short of regal too. Like the royals, she’s often spotted wearing the best British clothing brands and wore a gorgeous turquoise and white Lalage Beaumont dress on Wimbledon Day 5.

Mary sat in the Royal Box on Centre Court to watch the tennis and her dress suited its smart dress code. Crafted from 100% silk, this Naomi design has a fitted waist that flares out into an elegant A-line skirt.

It falls to just below the knee and features a smart, turn-back collar and elbow-length sleeves with notched cuffs. This coverage gives it a modest, elegant feel that’s ideal if you’re wondering what to wear to Wimbledon or other smarter occasions like garden parties or weddings.

Recreate Mary Berry's Look

Although the dress comes in a variety of different shades and prints, Dame Mary opted for the bright turquoise and ivory colourway. It has what the brand describes as a Batik-style print running all over the vibrant background tone.

The pattern is free-flowing and incorporates botanical motifs in a very different way to the floral frock designs we often see at this time of year. I love the balance of the vibrant turquoise and the subtle white and as well as being a highlight of Wimbledon fashion, Mary’s dress showcases this trendy 2025 colour combination.

Both the Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte wore turquoise and white to Trooping the Colour in June, marking a return to the matching outfits they used to love. These ensembles made such a statement and were a little different to the navy and white they chose last year.

The Duchess of Edinburgh then went on to wear a variation of this - sea-green and white - at an engagement a few weeks later. Blue and white in general is always a very popular pairing for summer, but turquoise just brightens things up a little without making it any less versatile.

It’s always a good idea if you’re worrying about how to wear a pattern, to pick a design which has a neutral colour in there somewhere. The white detailing on Mary Berry’s dress means that white accessories and outwear would complement it perfectly.

Instead, she went for pale beige block heeled court shoes and a matching crossbody bag that she wore draped over her shoulder. These also worked well with the turquoise and white Naomi dress and the Princess of Wales wore high heels in a similar colour at Trooping the Colour.

Turquoise is such a fun and statement hue that I’d recommend going for neutral accessories to mellow it a little. Dame Mary looked so put-together and sophisticated at Wimbledon and because of the hot weather she didn’t need to add anything else to her outfit.

On a cooler day, a white blazer or even a white denim jacket would be good layering pieces. Day-to-day, a turquoise and white dress, top or skirt can be made more casual with white trainers thanks to their sporty edge.

For Wimbledon it’s understandable that Mary went smarter and she attended the tennis alongside her daughter Annabel, who wore darker blue and white. Both looks were beautiful, but the brighter combination has to be my favourite.

A whole host of spectators, from Trinny Woodall to Judy Murray, have sat courtside at SW19 in chic ensembles, and one of my favourites so far has to be Rebel Wilson in bubblegum pink.

The 45-year-old actress was spotted watching a match from the Royal Box earlier this week wearing the beautiful Guinevere dress by Temperley London, a broderie anglaise design that she styled beautifully with a Gucci bag and studded Valentino heels.

How to style yours

I'll admit, I am a little bit biased when it comes to this dress. When scouring the high street for what to wear to Royal Ascot, I tried on the Abi dress (pictured below), and honestly, I've kicked myself ever since for not buying it there and then.

Navy is such an easy and forgiving colour to wear, and although it's a big investment, at just under £300, this design will go seriously far in your summer capsule wardrobe.

It will work as one of the best wedding guest dresses, but team it with your best white trainers and you could wear it for a day in the office or a picnic in the park too.

Wimbledon is well underway now, and alongside all of the tennis action on the court, the long list of A-list spectators have provided plenty of style inspiration too.

Rachel Stevens just rewrote the fashion rulebook with her all-white Wimbledon outfit, and it's a great styling lesson for those under 5'3. The former pop star has a petite frame, and it has long been thought that those of a smaller stature should steer clear of items such as wide-leg trousers, but this Wimbledon fashion moment suggests otherwise.

It's all in the proportions and if you're looking at how to style wide-leg trousers, the first thing you need to do is make sure to highlight your waist. Rachel has done this in three ways. Firstly, she opted for a pair of neatly tailored high-waisted, pleated palazzo trousers (these have unfortunately largely sold out) that fit beautifully. As the first day of Wimbledon 2025 kicked off in South West London on Monday, Rochelle Humes joined hundreds of spectators arriving in style for a day at the tennis tournament.

Rochelle braved the British heatwave in serious elegance, providing some enviable inspiration on what to wear to Wimbledon, in a look made up of crisp tailoring, cropped trousers, and a cool take on summer sandals.

Channelling tennis whites with a chic twist as she walked hand-in-hand with husband Marvin, the TV host sported a £375 blazer by de Savary London, featuring a rounded neckline, chunky buttons and sleek scarf detail.

Keeping the silhouette of her Wimbledon look svelte and sleek, Rochelle opted for a shorter take on skinny white trousers, going for a pair of custom-made cropped pants.

On the accessories front, a wide-brimmed black sunhat with a polka dot ribbon was a standout moment, while the essential addition of a pair of dark sunnies made the look even chicer.

Rochelle's shoes really caught our eye, though, as she added height and a summery feel with a pair of slip-on mules that toed the line between wedge sandal and flip flop.

Her shoes appear to be the Cube 75 Satin Thong Wedge Mules by Alaïa. They maintained the clean aesthetic of her look, adding some height and glamour while also managing to keep a low-key, relaxed feel.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll have noticed yellow has been a huge colour trend this year.

I saw it everywhere when I visited Royal Ascot last month, but up until now, I didn't think it was a colour that would particularly suit me. However, Judy Murray's bold dress for day two of Wimbledon is giving me the confidence to try it!

Stepping out in the scorching sunshine in SW19, the broadcaster wore a white and red floral dress and carried a Lulu Guinness post box clutch.

Red and white is also a surprisingly wearable combination for the season. The poppies on Angellica’s dress were a fiery scarlet and a true, bright red like this is vibrant and yet still complements a lot of other shades.

White, black, tan and taupe all work well with red and you can also go for gold accessories to bring out the warmth of this colour. Having a white background tone on any floral dress makes your styling job even easier as it keeps the overall design in balance.

At Wimbledon, Angellica took a playful approach with her accessories rather than a neutral one and went for red shoes and a matching bag. Her handbag really caught my eye and it looked to be the £345 Lulu Guinness Mail Postbox Collectable Clutch.

An accessory like this is always going to be a talking point and if the rest of your outfit is quite timeless like Angellica’s was, you can afford to be more daring with your bag. The design was inspired by the traditional red post boxes in the UK and it’s made from satin, with embroidered detailing. There’s even a letter inside the lid!

As a Londoner attending a London event, Angellica Bell couldn’t have chosen a better bag for Wimbledon. She arrived carrying it by the red strap and it’s a good reminder to have fun when you’re putting together different outfits.

The TV star finished off her Wimbledon Day 1 outfit with red Jones Bootmaker espadrille wedges with a red jute sole. They had a handy ankle strap to keep them secure on her feet and a rounded toe.

Wedges are a brilliant footwear option for summer as they fall somewhere in between being casual and formal and give you more stability than stilettos.

She teamed her loose-fitting trousers with a pair of black slip-on trainers, adding a white camisole and a matching shirt worn open over the top. Some statement red sunglasses and a roomy black shoulder bag rounded things off perfectly.

More than ever in recent years the Princess of Wales has been embracing a personal approach when it comes to royal appearances. She’s not afraid to show delight or sympathy and has often been pictured hugging fans. Perhaps unsurprisingly fans were also treated to some displays of emotion from the royal when it came to Wimbledon 2023. The Princess of Wales, who is known for her love of tennis, attended three times, including when she watched the Women’s Singles Final from the Wimbledon Royal Box. 

Alongside pictures of her beaming at the brilliant tennis, there were a few other photos which might have got some people worried Kate Middleton was crying, as the epic highs and lows of the match played out on court.  

The stakes were high for both finalists as Ons Jabeur was the 2022 runner-up and was battling to become the first African woman to win a Grand Slam title. Whilst Markéta Vondroušová was playing to become the first unseeded player to win the Wimbledon women’s singles title - which she eventually did. 

The conclusion of the match was incredibly emotional and the future Queen Consort was photographed seemingly dabbing her eyes at one point. No tears were clearly visible on her face in the pictures, but it looks as though Princess of Wales could potentially have been gently wiping away tears from the corner of her eyes.

Although as a tennis fan she likely admired Markéta’s performance, it’s possible her empathetic nature meant Ons’ disappointment moved her too. Regardless of whether Kate Middleton was crying, she certainly did all she could to comfort Ons when she presented the trophies.

She was seen embracing the Wimbledon 2023 runner-up and talking kindly to her, whilst the tennis star looked visibly upset. Speaking during her on-court interview after losing the match, Ons described her loss as “very, very tough”.

“I will try to speak because this is very, very tough, but.. err… I’m going to look ugly in the photos, so that’s not going to help. I think this is the most painful loss of my career,” she said.

“I want to say congratulations to Markéta and her team for this amazing tournament. You’re an amazing player," she continued.

Although it was a “tough day” for Ons, she reflected that she was in no way going to give up, declaring, “I will come back stronger and win a Grand Slam one day.”

As per the Daily Mail, Ons was reportedly asked afterwards what the Princess of Wales had said when she was consoling her. According to the tennis star, the senior royal apparently encouraged her “to be strong, to come back and win a Grand Slam, win Wimbledon”. 

Ons also revealed that Kate had supposedly been unsure whether to hug her, but the player had told her, “Hugs are always welcome from me”.

“That was a very nice moment and she's always nice to me,” Ons added.

Whether or not Kate Middleton was crying at Wimbledon, her uplifting words certainly seem to have meant a lot to Ons Jabeur.

Kate Middleton radiated mid-July heat at Wimbledon over the weekend, stepping out in an elegant yellow dress with stylish black sunglasses to watch the Ladies Single Final. The exciting fashion moment came just one day before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were joined by their eldest son, Prince George, for the final match of the famous tennis tournament. 

Kate, who is widely considered a Wimbledon fashion icon, looked positively breathtaking as she mingled with other attendees on Saturday ahead of Kazakhstani Elena Rybakina's victory over Tunisia's Ons Jabeur. 

The 40-year-old made a subtle nod to sustainability at the sporty event, wearing the same yellow Roksanda gown she donned in Jamaica during her costly Caribbean royal tour with Prince William earlier this year. 

Always one to dress for the occasion, the duchess shielded her eyes from the blazing hot sun with black shades before slipping on a straw hat with a black sash for optimal protection. We, however, have our eyes peeled for the latest Kate Middleton dresses, in the hope of adding them to our wardrobe. An expert at occasion dressing, she always hits the mark and looks effortless in the process.

Pictured here at the men's singles final today, Kate opted for an eye-catching custom-made royal blue dress by Roksanda, which she teamed with her new favourite Anya Hindmarch bag and a sunhat from LK Bennett.

2. Rochelle Humes

An early contender for our best-dressed guest of the 2025 Championships, Rochelle Humes channelled her inner Meredith Blake (if you know, you know), in a white blazer and matching capri trousers by de Savary. But it was her wedge flip-flop hybrid shoes that really caught our attention!

Margot Robbie's polka dot look from 2024 lives rent-free in my mind. She showed off her baby bump in black and white polka dots by Alaia, and the draped detailing on the dress was truly stunning.

Just like the rest of us, Zara Tindall is a big fan of ME+EM. In 2024, she wore this floral midi dress by the brand, alongside a smart white blazer and a pair of statement taupe sunglasses.

10. Carole Middleton

Never one to disappoint, Carole Middleton was one of several Wimbledon celebrity attendees who chose stripes at SW19 in 2025.

Taking inspiration from the Princess of Wales, who recently wore a tan striped shirt, Carole removed the belt from her toffee-toned shirt dress and added Emmy London sandals.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed attending Wimbledon on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. The royal couple looked lovely as they sat in the London sun in sunglasses and reacted with the crowd as they watched the tennis matches.

Kate Middleton re-wore a stunning blue polka dot dress Alessandra Rich dress that she previously wore to a street party in Kensington earlier this year for the Big Jubilee Lunch. The midi dress featured a number of delicate pleats across the front of the dress, and larger pleats at the hem of the skirt. The dress also featured three-quarter-length peasant sleeves and the Duchess finished the look with a contrasting purple and green bow.

Kate Middleton's best Wimbledon looks always feature this purple and green ribbon. The bow is for members of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC), which Kate has been a patron of since 2016. 

The Duchess completed this look by removing the silver button and belt accessories that originally came with the dress and opted for a pattern that matched the rest of the dress. Catherine also paired this look with a pair of white sling-back heels and a pair of large drop pearl earrings, an item of jewelry that seem to be Kate Middleton's favorite earrings.

Many of Kate Middleton's dresses are from Alessandra Rich and the brand has become a go-to spot for the Duchess. The dress originally cost £1,515 (around $1,810 USD) when it was originally purchased by Kate, but it is now no longer available and fans will have to rely on dupes of this item.

This was just one of the many spotty dresses the Duchess has been seen in recently, which seems to be a current trend for Kate.

Catherine has recently appeared at a number of royal engagements in polka dot gowns in different colors and earlier in the year, Kate Middleton and Prince William subtly coordinated outfits for their surprise Ascot appearance as the Duchess wore a stunning black and white polka dot dress.

The Duchess of Cambridge's family adores tennis and the Middletons are often pictured with members of the extended royal family at Wimbledon, the famous London tennis tournament.

On a few occasions, the Duchess has bought her father, Michael Middleton, to Wimbledon, who is an avid sports fan. However, her father's attendance at the recent hasn't always been smooth sailing. 

The Duchess of Cambridge revealed in a 2017 documentary titled, Sue Barker: Our Wimbledon, that her father once embarrassed her with his causal comment to a famous tennis player. Reportedly Michael very casually called Tim Henman 'Pete' after he confused the tennis player with Pete Sampras who he had just watched play.

"My father is not going to appreciate this, but we were walking past Tim Henman and we had just seen Sampras play," said Catherine in the documentary, "my dad said very coolly, 'Hi Pete',” she said. "I was mortified!"

Not only did the father of the future Queen accidentally mix up the tennis players but he also casually addressed him before they had even been introduced, quite a hilarious royal faux pas! 

Wimbledon is set to continue this week and will conclude on Sunday, July 10, 2022. Although members of the Royal Family have not yet been spotted at the London sporting event, it is thought that many royals will be attending matches in the coming weeks and watching from the Wimbledon Royal Box.

Members of the Royal Family have regularly attended over the years and already in 2023 Kate Middleton and Prince Michael of Kent have been spotted in the Wimbledon Royal Box.

This leaves the matter of when and if their fellow royals will attend and if the Princess of Wales could return with Prince William up to speculation. But what is the Royal Box at Wimbledon, who sits there, and which other royals might fans expect to see at the Championships this year?

What is the Wimbledon Royal Box?

The Wimbledon Royal Box is located on the club's iconic Center Court and has 74 seats reserved for use by guests and royals alike. It’s been used since 1922 and has a smart dress code, with suits/jackets and a tie for men, whilst ladies are advised not to wear hats to avoid obscuring the view of the people sitting behind them. Back in 2003 it was decided that the tradition of players bowing or curtsying to the Royal Box when entering or leaving Center Court was to be discontinued. 

However, there were two exceptions to this - when the Queen or Prince of Wales were in attendance. Now King Charles is monarch this might continue with bowing and curtsying only required if he or Prince William were there.

Who sits in the Wimbledon Royal Box? 

Not just anyone can watch the tennis from the Wimbledon Royal Box! Instead, this is reserved for both members of the immediate and extended Royal Family and honored guests of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. As revealed by Wimbledon, invitations from Chairman Ian Hewitt showcase the Club’s desire to recognize those people whose achievements are inspirational and deserve immense gratitude and those who provide outstanding public service.

Which royals could attend Wimbledon this year?

It's not been confirmed which royals will definitely be attending Wimbledon 2023, though so far we've seen the Princess of Wales, Prince Michael of Kent and his daughter Lady Gabriella Windsor. However, as the Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and an avid tennis fan, Kate Middleton is certainly expected to make another appearance during the fortnight. 

The Princess of Wales has excited fans with her attendance in previous years and has held her prestigious role as patron since 2016, taking over from the Queen herself. It’s therefore likely that the Princess of Wales will be returning to the Wimbledon Royal Box during the 2023 tournament.

Prince William is also no stranger to the All England club, having attended regularly alongside Kate, especially on final days. In light of this, it’s expected that he could also make a return appearance at Wimbledon 2023. Their eldest son Prince George is an exception to a Wimbledon rule which states only royal kids are allowed in the Wimbledon Royal Box and he made his debut in 2022 on Day 14. 

Prince George could possibly get another day out at Wimbledon with his proud mom and dad this year. Meanwhile, other royals that have been glimpsed attending Wimbledon previously include several more of the Queen’s grandchildren, many of which could perhaps cheer the players on from the Royal Box once again.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi excitedly watched the Ladies Semi-Final in 2021, as did Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Although the Duchess didn't make another visit last year, Princess Beatrice did on Day 12 and could possibly attend again in 2023. Zara and Mike Tindall have also attended in the past, though they have been known to watch the action from the stands and not the Royal Box.

When might we see the Royal Family at Wimbledon 2023?

Sadly for anyone hoping to get some serious style inspiration from Kate Middleton’s dresses or to see some sweet interactions between royals, it’s not yet known when specific royals could attend Wimbledon 2023. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren't a few hints about when senior royals such as the Prince and Princess of Wales might show up again this year. Looking back at other Wimbledon championships, it’s likely that Kate Middleton could attend the Ladies Final from the Royal Box.

The Princess has attended this final regularly, including in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. She also returned for the final day of Wimbledon and saw Novak Djokovic in action in the Men’s Final. Prince William and Prince George accompanied her on that occasion and the Prince of Wales also watched the Men's Singles Final in 2018 and 2019.

In 2021 he watched the Ladies' Singles Final and then saw the Men's Singles Final again last year. Given his history of watching these two finals, he might potentially make another appearance at one of them at Wimbledon 2023. 

But it’s not just the semi-finals or finals that could see the royals heading for the Wimbledon Royal Box. The likes of Princess Beatrice and Duchess Sophie have previously  attended in the latter half of the Wimbledon fortnight, but not the finals themselves.

Members of the Royal Family could also perhaps choose to coordinate their visits so as to be able to watch British tennis stars. The likes of Liam Broady, Andy Murray, Katie Boulter are still in with a chance of winning the trophy.

Ultimately, whilst it’s not yet known exactly when the Prince or Princess of Wales or any of their fellow royals might grace the Wimbledon Royal Box, it could be that they wait until later on and keep an eye on British talent as the finals draw closer.
