Charlotte Hawkins has delivered some fabulous style moments at Royal Ascot this week, with a series of elegant looks that are worth taking inspiration from, but her day four attire might just be one of my personal favourites yet.

The presenter stepped out in an exquisite summer dress by Rebecca Vallance - a brand that's also a favourite of Zara Tindall's, and known for their timeless and feminine designs. It’s the chicest choice if you're stuck on what to wear to the races, or if you're simply looking for a luxury summer wedding guest dress.

Her light blue cotton midi dress feels so sophisticated, with its lantern print and flattering shape making it ideal for a summer race day. She elevated the look with a sky-blue boater hat, while navy pointed heels completed the outfit for a coordinated finish.

This style of floral cotton dress is exactly the kind of piece that you'll get plenty of wear out of throughout event season. Rebecca Vallance is a firm favourite of Zara Tindall's, and she has been spotted wearing the brand at Ascot herself this week, including a pretty pastel lilac dress that features a flattering wrap-over design.

Hawkins has continued to impress us with her fabulous style over the past week. Another notable look is when she embraced one of the key spring/summer colour trends 2026 – tomato red, in a dress that brought a vibrant burst of colour to the event, which we love to see!

The newest member of the Royal Family, Mrs Harriet Phillips, made her first post-wedding appearance on 16th June at Royal Ascot. Dressed in a gorgeous dusty blue frock and matching hat, she even got to make a very regal entrance alongside her mother-in-law Princess Anne and husband Peter.

Harriet was all smiles as she rode in the royal procession on Day 1, sitting in pride of place beside Princess Anne in the carriage. She had the traditional name badge pinned to her dress, reading, "Mrs Peter Phillips", and whilst this was to be expected, her subtle tribute to her husband was more of a surprise.

She made the sweet gesture of having her new initials monogrammed on to her matching blue Anya Hindmarch clutch bag.

This touching detail suggests that Harriet has jumped right into her new life as the wife of Peter, considering their wedding took place less than two weeks before Royal Ascot. Harriet and Peter married on 6th June, in a small, private ceremony followed by a reception at Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate.

Harriet’s closeness with her new mother-in-law was also on show at Ascot, with the pair caught laughing and chatting away as they rode in the second carriage of the procession. She was also spotted bonding with her new sister-in-law, Zara Tindall, before she headed to the Royal Box to watch the proceedings.

Even Harriet’s style choices nod to the fact that she’s fitting in well with her new family. Her high-necked blue dress is made by Suzannah London, designed in the Biarritz style and, per the brand’s website, is inspired by the late 1940s vintage tea dress style.

The designer is a go-to for the likes of Duchess Sophie and Catherine, Princess of Wales. Harriet’s matching hat was made by another royal favourite, milliner Jane Taylor London, who also made Kate's sunshine yellow hat from Ascot Day 2.

Staying in that honeymoon bubble, Harriet’s choice of jewellery was a link back to her wedding day too. She wore a set of Pragnell jewels and was loaned the Pragnell Tiara to wear for her nuptials. The Edwardian pearl and diamond design has a deep connection to the family she married into, having been present at the coronations of both King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II.

Harriet's wedding tiara also paid subtle tribute to the royals in another way as it's very similar to Princess Anne's Meander Tiara.

The laurel leaves and articulated floral motifs, per the jeweller's website, bear "great resemblance to the tiara owned by The Princess Royal, in the official photograph celebrating her fiftieth birthday in 2000". As well as being worn by Princess Anne often over the years, the Meander Tiara was worn by Zara for her 2011 wedding to Mike Tindall.

Even if I choose a sleeveless style, in a bold colour to match the dressy nature of the day, I always make sure I have a cardigan to hand as a light layer to slip on for an evening breeze. When it comes to footwear, comfort is key, and you can't go wrong with a pair of trending, neutral ballet pumps, as there is a lot of walking and standing around."

What to wear to Royal Ascot: The Royal Enclosure

If you're lucky enough to have a ticket for the Royal Enclosure, this is the strictest dress code of all, so think elegant and respectful. The best way to approach it is the same way you might approach a church wedding. Midi dresses are a popular choice, since dresses and skirts have to be just above the knee or longer. Bold colours and prints aren't off-limits, and in fact, you can really have some fun with them.

In 2017, the best jumpsuits were formally added to the dress code, but any suits must be in a matching material and colour. Note that 'hats (not fascinators) must be worn'. You can wear a hatinator, which has the appearance of a hat but is fastened onto a headband, but it should have a base of 4 inches or more. A fascinator, on the other hand, covers very little of the head and does not have a base.

Rivkie says: "Ascot's Royal Enclosure has some of the strictest fashion guidelines, but rather than being daunted by the rules, embrace the help they give in guiding your outfit for the occasion."

The official dress code:

• A dress or skirt falling just above the knee or longer (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted)
• Shoulder straps that are a minimum width of 1 inch / 2.5cm
• A jacket or pashmina may be worn. Tops and dresses beneath must still comply
• A trouser suit of matching material and colour
• A jumpsuit that falls below the knee and complies with the shoulder strap requirements
• Hats must be worn. However, a headpiece or hatinator with a minimum base diameter of 4 inches / 10cm is acceptable.

What to wear to Royal Ascot: The Queen Anne Enclosure

The Queen Anne Enclosure is Royal Ascot's most popular, offering a fantastic view of the track, access to the Parade Ring and a great atmosphere. Whilst the dress code isn't as strict as the Royal Enclosure, there are still clear guidelines to follow. Dresses and jumpsuits are permitted, and smart trouser suits are too. The main difference is that you can wear a headpiece or fascinator instead of a hat, unlike the Royal Enclosure.

The official dress code:

• A dress or top and skirt, with shoulder or halter neck straps (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted, no minimum length)
• A trouser suit of matching material and colour
• A jumpsuit that falls below the knee and complies with the shoulder strap requirements
• A hat, headpiece or fascinator

What to wear to Royal Ascot: The Village Enclosure

If the Queen Anne Enclosure is rooted in tradition, the Village Enclosure offers a more modern take on Royal Ascot style. The dress code remains firmly occasionwear-focused, but with a little more room for personality, making it the perfect place to experiment with colour and print. Dresses, jumpsuits and tailored co-ords are all popular choices, and hats and fascinators are still a requirement. Tops that are strapless, bardot or one-shoulder are strictly off limits.

The official dress code:

•  A dress or top and skirt, with shoulder or halter neck straps (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted, no minimum length)
• Trousers suits are welcome and should be of matching material and colour
• Jumpsuits should fall below the knee and comply with the above strap requirements

What to wear to Royal Ascot: The Windsor Enclosure

The Windsor Enclosure offers a more relaxed way to experience Royal Ascot, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't look your best. Unlike the Royal, Queen Anne and Village Enclosures, there is no official dress code, which means there is much more freedom with what you wear; however, it's best to lean into smart, occasion-ready pieces.

The official dress code:

"Whilst there is no official dress code for the Windsor Enclosure, guests are encouraged to dress in smart daywear. A hat, headpiece or fascinator is encouraged."

Superstar stylist Martine Alexander offered us her advice, "My message right now is all about being unapologetically YOU.

"So if your personal style, and what makes you feel 'yes this is me', is not matchy matchy - for some people it is, they're very colour coordinated, and that's fine because they feel represented in that look - but actually it doesn't have to be that way. You can express your personal style by clashing colours - bag, shoes and hat, as long as the colour palette flows with the dress that you're wearing for Royal Ascot.

"There's nothing to say you can't have two colours in your accessories. As long as it flows, it will all work."

Where to shop for Ascot dresses in 2026?

Many of the brands you'd look to for the wedding guest dresses are great for Royal Ascot. British clothing brands like ME+EM, Rixo, Hobbs, Boden and Phase Eight might have what you're looking for.

Royal-approved brands are a great option if your budget is a bit higher. Martine says: "Zimmermann is great for Royal Ascot. I'd also say Safiyaa, Suzannah London and Claire Mischevani".

What's the difference between a hat and a fascinator?

Hats cover your head, and have a crown and a brim. Keep in mind, this can be very useful on particularly sunny days at the races!

The Royal Ascot dress code refers to a hatinator, which looks like a hat but is perched on a headband. These must have a base of 4 inches or more for the Royal Enclosure.

A fascinator likely won't cover any of the head, and is a clip or headband with a small decorative detail. These are fine for Queen Anne, Village and Windsor enclosures.

Queen Camilla wore two beautiful accessories steeped in history as she attended Ascot’s November Racing Weekend on Saturday, where she was also faced with a disappointing last-minute change of plans.

Queen Camilla faced disappointing news at the Ascot Racecourse on Saturday, after meeting with the members of the Ebony Race Club to learn all about the London charity's work with young people in the area. 

The Queen Consort had been invited to present a prize to the winner of the Ebony Horse Club Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase, but was unable to do so after all of the horses (bar one) withdrew from the contest. It's understood that the turf on the racecourse was not soft enough for the horses' hooves, and was thereby deemed unsuitable for racing. 

Despite the last-minute letdown, Camilla appeared more than happy to continue with the engagement. After enjoying a 'behind the scenes' tour of the facility, the royal chatted with members of the Brixton-based club. 

The Queen Consort paired a grey hat with faux fur trim by Lock & Co, the oldest hatmaker in the world, with a forest green wool coat and matching skirt by designer Mr Roy, for the outdoorsy event. The 75-year-old kept extra warm in the chilly November temperatures with black leather gloves, brown knee-high boots, and a frilly cream blouse. 

As for her jewelry, Camilla embraced a simple look with classic pearl earrings and a delicate blue bracelet. She also pinned a horseshoe brooch to her coat's lapel, in honor of the equestrian venue. The striking badge boasts four sapphires and three rubies, as well as the Japanese word 'Minoru' spelled out in diamonds. Longtime royal fans will likely know that 'Minoru' was the name of one of King Edward VII’s most successful Thoroughbred racehorses. The Irish-bred horse won several competitions for the monarch, including the Epsom Derby in 1909.

Countess Sophie's beautiful and romantic engagement ring was designed by British royal jeweler Garrard, the man behind some of the Royal Family's most impressive pieces of jewelry. Gerrard also designed Princess Diana's iconic sapphire engagement ring and Sarah Ferguson's Burmese ruby.

It's unclear whether Prince Edward realized at the time the special royal links his chosen engagement ring had, but it's touching to know that there's a tradition associated with this stunning piece of jewelry.

The ring features a two-carat central oval diamond, with two heart-shaped diamonds either side and is reported to be worth around £105,000 ($149,000).

Lady Sarah Chatto made an exciting appearance at the Royal Ascot on Thursday, joining her aristocratic relatives in celebration of the event's traditional Ladies Day. 

The Queen's niece and daughter of Princess Margaret arrived at the Berkshire equestrian gala yesterday afternoon in a horse-drawn carriage alongside her husband, Daniel, and the Viscount and Viscountess Brookeborough, before alighting at the exclusive Royal Enclosure to mingle with its other members. Sarah, who is also the mother of the Queen's great-grandnephew, was present again at the races on Wednesday, where she was spotted chatting with Zara Tindall. 

In classic Lady Sarah Chatto fashion, the 58-year-old went for a simple, feminine outfit at the outdoor shindig on Thursday. She wore a white button-up cardigan over a white shirt with a matching pleated skirt, as well as a wide-brimmed, white sunhat to shade her from the blistering sun. She completed the elegant look with timeless jewelry, including a necklace and bracelet of pearls, a silver triangular brooch, and a pair of diamond-encrusted earrings. The angelic ensemble wasn't too different to Camilla Parker Bowles' 'beautifully elegant' white dress at the Royal Ascot, which has quickly gone viral for its heatwave-busting properties. 

The chic royal added the final touches with cream-colored kitten heels and a white, leather clutch. Her brown hair was straightened and styled with flipped ends while her face appeared to be make-up free.

These Royal races are a perfect time for racing enthusiasts to get dressed up in their finery and enjoy the sport in the sun. While Mike and Zara are like many other couples and ensure that they are dressed up for this event, there is a sweet fashion hack from Mike that ensures he complements his wife's look.

Most recently Mike Tindall teased Zara and Princess Eugenie as he compared the royals to starbursts because of their brightly colored clothes. The Duchess' outfits have been the talk of the town lately, particularly after Camilla was photographed at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee wearing an item of clothing that once belonged to Prince Charles.

Which Royals will attend Royal Ascot and what days will they go?

Members of the Royal Family will attend Royal Ascot every day from Tuesday to Saturday, and it's reported that the Queen will also be in attendance for 2022. As a dedicated racehorse owner, Her Majesty has attended every Royal Ascot during her 70-year reign.

The Queen recently missed the Epsom Derby after three of her horses pulled out of the races in the days leading up to the event but it's anticipated that Her Majesty will attend Royal Ascot.

If so, she is expected to attend at least one of the day's races although which one has yet to be confirmed due to increasing difficulties with her mobility.

The first day was spearheaded by three impeccable Group 1 contests – The Queen Anne Stakes, King’s Stand Stakes, and St James’s Palace Stakes.

Prince Charles who recently broke his strict diet and his wife Duchess Camilla, Prince Edward, and his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Zara and Mike Tindall, and Princess Beatrice were all in attendance on Tuesday 14. 

Wednesday marks the start of a competitive card the prestigious Group 1 Prince of Wales’s Stakes. The day itself tends to be a more gently-paced occasion than the opening day of the Royal Meeting, yet there is no compromise on quality in terms of both the racing and the enjoyment away from the track. 

In addition to The Prince of Wales’s Stakes the card also features three Group 2 races – The Queen Mary Stakes, The Queen’s Vase, and The Duke of Cambridge Stakes. 

Thursday is traditionally Ladies Day at Ascot and it is a day to see and be seen, the official Royal Ascot website states, "It is a glorious occasion, when high fashion and millinery masterpieces take centre stage alongside Flat racing’s most elite stayers locking horns in the historic Gold Cup."

Friday's penultimate race day also features two Group 1 races, as Europe’s finest three-year-old fillies do battle in the Coronation Stakes and a field of hugely exciting young sprinters contest the Commonwealth Cup. It’s the perfect start to a memorable long weekend.

“Not all hats fit all faces. Don’t be put off if the season’s hottest trends or the Princess of Wales' new headpiece style doesn’t suit you. Different designs suit different face shapes. Face shapes fall in a few categories: round, long, square, heart, triangle, oval."

• Round: to slim your face, you need to create length, so look at asymmetrical styles, or a tall hat (with a small brim). Avoid round shapes and large brims or anything that will horizontally go along the forehead, as these will make your face appear rounder.
• Long: if you want to make your face look rounder, then you need to do the opposite to round faces. Opt for a hat with a brim - the larger the better - a low crown is great to cut the length of the face.
• Square: a bit like round, you can add asymmetry to your face or soften the features with curves. Height on the crown will also help lengthen the face. Round fascinator shapes, brims, crowns, and flowers will soften the look.
• Oval: you can try anything. Go for any trend or style you want; all shapes should complement your face shape.

The Queen was spotted being driven around her vast Sandringham estate in Norfolk by her racing manager and friend John Warren, to check on her beloved horses.

The shot was taken at Windsor Castle last month by photographer Henry Dallal, and shows Her Majesty smiling while holding the rein of two of her beloved fell ponies.

This outing comes after The Queen's subtle sign that she doesn't need protecting was revealed after Prince Harry said he wants to make sure she's "got the right people around her."

Some have suggested that this was a dig at Angela Kelly, who has worked as the Queen's Personal Assistant and Senior Dresser since 2002, after first being introduced to her in 1992.

Prince Harry discussed his devotion to the Queen,  in a TV interview that aired on NBC's TODAY show. A part of this loyalty, revealed as Prince Harry opened up about his 'special relationship' with the Queen, is knowing that she's, "protected and got the right people around her."

Despite any suggestions that Her Majesty needs to be 'protected,' the Queen's unlikely lockdown hairdresser and closest aide Angela was seen driving onto Sandringham Estate on the monarch's birthday. This couldn't make it more clear that she's perfectly happy with those around her.

Princess Charlotte is reportedly already showing great skill as a horse rider, something which she has in common with her great-grandmother, the Queen. And it would appear that the next generation of royals is taking after the Queen, with Princess Charlotte particularly singled out for her skill—and this isn’t the first time Charlotte’s likeness to the Queen has been noted.

It is believed they began to hone their riding skills at Amner Hall, their home in Norfolk, during the coronavirus lockdowns.

The Queen is said to have had her very first horse riding lesson aged just three years old. As a child, she was then given her first horse, a Shetland pony named Peggy, at age four, which she was riding solo by the age of six.

From her first appearance as princess in 1947 and throughout her reign as queen until 1986, she attended the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony on horseback.

The Queen also turned her attention to breeding thoroughbred horses for racing.

A royal source said at the time, “The Queen is sad she can not get out on her horse, which is one of her favorite pastimes, but she is resting and taking every precaution to get back to full fitness.

"However she is very determined to be back riding as soon as possible and in no way does she feel her riding days are behind her.”

With her recent mobility issues, that might be unlikely so it’s up to her great-grandchildren to carry on the beloved pastime of the monarch who, no doubt, would have some advice and pointers to share.

During their excursion, the duke and duchess celebrated the culture, heritage, and achievements of the two Middle Eastern countries, though they were quick to stress that the tour was purely for business, rather than pleasure. 

Describing their trip as 'quite tough', the duchess told reporters yesterday from the ministerial jet, per The Daily Mail, "It was quite tough. We were driving a lot and it was pretty bumpy."

This week's trip wasn't the duchess' first visit to Egypt with her husband of 16-years, though. Commenting on their last adventure, Camilla added, "But afterwards I think, OK, 16 years ago, I'm a lot older now – well into my 70s – but to quote Richard Ingam, 'We've still got a snap in our celery'."

Prince Charles' absence at today's racing event may be down to the 'joint christening' that's reportedly taking place at the Royal Lodge in Windsor this afternoon. In what is reported to be a royal first, it's thought that second cousins Lucas Philip Tindall, the 8-month-old son of Mike and Zara Tindall, and August Brooksbank, the firstborn son of Princess Eugenie and husband Jack, will be christened in a double ceremony.

The Queen’s famous purple, gold braid, and scarlet colors have recorded more than 1,800 winners since her first victory with Monaveen over jumps at Fontwell Park in 1949. She has also twice become Champion Flat Owner in Great Britain, in 1954 and 1957.

PReviously, while discussing her mother-in-law's love for all things equine, Duchess Camilla said, “I think racing is her passion in life. She loves it and you can tell how much she loves it."

Her Majesty looked bright and cheerful in a mint green ensemble for Saturday's Royal Ascot event, which is the highlight of the annual racing calendar. The event also holds a special place in the Queen's affections, who has been a patron of Royal Ascot since coming to the throne in 1952.

While Royal Ascot 2021 race meetings have been taking place since Tuesday, Her Majesty declined to attend what is reported to be one of her favorite events of the year until day five, leaving many royal fans wondering why the Queen wasn't at Royal Ascot this year. 

Upon entering the racecourse, Her Majesty was greeted with cheers and a round of applause from crowds in the stands and on the racecourse, who were clearly delighted she had decided to attend the event. The Queen was accompanied on her drive by her trusted lady-in-waiting, Lady Susan Hussey.

It's wonderful to see Her Majesty looking so upbeat, even without Prince Philip by her side, after what has been undoubtedly a very difficult time for her personally.

In keeping with the floral trend we've seen at Royal Ascot so far this year, her striking mint green outfit is complemented perfectly by a statement hat, embroidered with bright pink and red flowers. 

Other Royal Family members were spotted sporting the floral trend earlier this week, with Zara Tindall, Princess Anne, and Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall coordinating their hats.

This streamlined look could, of course, be a coincidence, but the similar styles also suggest a unity between the royals, perhaps signifying how their family bond has been strengthened after recent hardships. 

Bloom motifs are also a key trend for the season, symbolizing the joy and abundance of the summer months. "For so many of us nature has been a solace in recent months," Dr Janet Emmanuel, Principal Lecturer in Fashion, Styling & Promotion at the University of Bedfordshire, told us. "The beauty and color palette of florals lifts our spirits and helps us look forward to better times." 

This is the first time Her Majesty has attended the races since 2019—as last year's race meetings were called off due to Covid-19 restrictions and we're sure she's delighted to be back. Her Majesty's fondness for horses has been well documented throughout the years. 

Only recently, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, told ITV Racing presenter Oli Bell, "I think this is [the Queen's] passion in life, and she loves it and you can tell how much she loves it. She can tell you every horse she’s bred and owned, from the very beginning, she doesn’t forget anything."

Royal Ascot reportedly reopened its doors to 12,000 racing fans a day but the impact of the coronavirus pandemic is still expected to take a significant financial toll on the event.

Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall were also in attendance. 

Royal fans are obsessed with Zara Tindall's Royal Ascot look and many noticed that the royal women co-ordinated their looks as Princess Anne, Camilla, and Zara Tindall's hats at Royal Ascot complemented one another perfectly.

But one familiar face that hasn’t been spotted at the annual event yet is the Queen, whose husband Prince Philip sadly passed away last month.

It’s no secret that the 95-year-old—the UK’s longest-serving Monarch—is an avid fan of horses and racing, with some of her own horses running at this year’s event.

Her Majesty has only ever missed one Royal Ascot during her time as Queen—in 2020, when Royal Ascot was held without an audience due to Covid-19. 

Why is the Queen not at Ascot?

As of this week, the Queen has also missed a significant portion of Royal Ascot 2021, but there is still time for the monarch to attend the races.

Royal Ascot 2021 runs until Saturday, June 19, so there is still time for the Queen to make an appearance.

It has been widely reported that Her Majesty is likely to enjoy at least some of the event, so we could expect to see her there in the next few days.

Why might the Queen not attend Royal Ascot?

Attending a big event like Royal Ascot is a big step for the Queen, who spent much of last year in ‘HMS Bubble’ at Windsor Castle—forcing her to change her annual Christmas tradition, among others, due to the global pandemic.

And she is still mourning the death of her husband, Prince Philip.

She has only recently returned to normal duties after having her Covid-19 vaccination and joined world leaders at the G7 summit in Cornwall before hosting President Joe Biden for afternoon tea just last weekend.

Has the Queen missed other events like this?

Less than two weeks ago, the Queen decided to miss the Epsom Derby, an iconic event that the Queen has attended for the last 75 years. 

It is thought that the Queen made this decision to ensure that she remained safe during these events that are now open to the public but have Covid-19 safety precautions in place. 

A royal insider told The Telegraph at the time, “It’s a Derby but it’s not a traditional Derby Day. It’s not going to be what it normally is so the Queen has decided she would rather watch it at home.”

It could be that the Queen has also decided to continue watching Royal Ascot from the safety of her own home.

But, with the Duchess of Cornwall having described the Queen's equestrian interests her “passion in life”, we’ve no doubt the Queen is itching to get back to Royal Ascot.

Camilla told ITV Racing, “Well I think this is her passion in life and she loves it, and you can tell how much she loves it.

“She could tell you every horse she’s bred and owned from the very beginning—she doesn’t forget anything. I can hardly remember what I bred a year ago but she’s encyclopedic about her knowledge.”

Speaking on Her Majesty's incredible expertise on her beloved hobby, Camilla said, "She loves it and you can tell how much she loves it."

Continuing her outpour of praise for the monarch's genuine love of the sport, Camilla went on to say, "She can tell you every horse she’s bred and owned, from the very beginning, she doesn’t forget anything. I can hardly remember what I bred a year ago, so she’s encyclopedic about her knowledge."

Zara Tindall commanded attention on the first day of Royal Ascot looking stylish in a polka dot wrap dress.

The mother-of-three looked incredible having given birth on the bathroom floor just three months ago.

Zara joined her husband, Mike Tindall, mother, Princess Anne—who is surprisingly low in the line of succession to the British Throne for this reason—Prince Charles, and the Duchess of Cornwall at the annual event.

The Queen is yet to make an appearance at Royal Ascot 2021.

It's the first time Zara and Mike have been out socializing since the arrival of little Lucas, and the couple certainly looked in high spirits as they enjoyed the sunshine at Ascot racecourse.

She's always been hugely popular with royal fans and Zara's latest appearance at Ascot is no different, with royal watchers flocking to compliment the new mum.

"Love Zara Tindall, she really is amazing," one fan tweeted. "The envy of most postpartum women."

Another called her "absolutely stunning."

Zara looked stylish in a £250 ivory mini dress by ME+EM, which featured a sweet polka dot detail and a flattering tie-wrap waist.

She accessorized the outfit with a floral fascinator, matching clutch bag, and white stilettos, and kept her hair and makeup simple but sleek with a royal-approved chignon up-do.

Just like her grandmother, Zara is also a huge horse enthusiast and even competed in Equestrian at the Olympics.

The Duchess of Cornwall recently described the Queen's equestrian interests as her "passion in life," and given Zara's success, we'd say the same thing is true of her.

Camilla told ITV Racing, "Well I think this is her passion in life and she loves it, and you can tell how much she loves it.

"She could tell you every horse she's bred and owned from the very beginning - she doesn't forget anything. I can hardly remember what I bred a year ago but she's encyclopedic about her knowledge."

It's no surprise Zara and Her Majesty have previously bonded over their shared love of horses, with Zara paying tribute to the Queen at Cheltenham Festival two years ago.
