Ingredients

  • 200g (7oz) pancetta
  • 600g (1lb 5oz) frozen peas
  • 5tbsp double cream
  • 2tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • black pepper

Method

  • Dry-fry 200g (7oz) pancetta until crisp then drain on kitchen paper. Cook 600g (1lb 5oz) frozen peas for 1 minute, drain, put in a pan with the pancetta and 5tbsp double cream, and bring to a simmer. Stir in 2tbsp chopped fresh mint and black pepper. Serve immediately.
