If you don't have balsalmic jelly use honey instead.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes (plus chilling) Cooking Time: 15 minutes Serves: 6
2 onions 1 tbsp vegetable oil 3 tbsp balsalmic jelly (we used Sainsbury's Taste the Difference) 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard 1tbsp chopped fresh sage 500g pack sausages rolls and salad, to serve
1 Slice the onions and fry in the oil for 10 minutes until tender and caramelised. Combine the balsalmic jelly with the mustard and sage, then pour over the sausages and chill for 15 minutes. 2 Barbecue the sausages for 15 minutes, or until they are cooked through, and serve with the rolls, onions and salad.
