And these pearl mules well-and-truly have my heart, giving off an old Hollywood type of glamour that really works with this modern, bold outfit. And she finishes the look with chunky silver bangles, and a silver long necklace, very much in line with statement jewellery we've seen Trinny wear over the years.

Helen Skelton’s pink waistcoat and trousers have shown that soft pastel shades and tailoring are the perfect summer combination.

Your best jumpsuits and floral dresses will always be summer wardrobe staples but for elevated casual outfits it doesn’t come much more chic than a tailored co-ord. Waistcoats and trousers have been a popular choice for summer for some time now and are the epitome of sophistication. Depending on the colour and fabric they can work for everything from a wedding to a family BBQ and presenter Helen Skelton recently wore a pink set from River Island that we won’t forget in a hurry. She took to Instagram to share a collection of her recent work looks, including this waistcoat and trouser co-ord and the combination of the pastel hue and smart silhouette was gorgeous. 

So gorgeous that we were sad to discover that it’s almost completely sold out in this particular shade and in many of the others too. Whilst there are so many styles of waistcoat out there, Helen’s had a longline design and draped elegantly over the waistband of her wide leg trousers.

This was such a stunning look from Helen and one of many amazing outfits we’ve seen from the presenter recently. Helen Skelton’s floral maxi skirt was another pretty choice for summer that was also from River Island, and she wore it with a pale blue knitted shirt. Whichever way you look at it, pastel colours are a styling must-have for this season.

Wimbledon has only just begun, but attendees are already serving some incredible looks. As the championship got underway on Centre Court yesterday, Myleene Klass dazzled in a chic all white ensemble.

While we might be used to seeing guests in summery dresses, the Myleene reworked a classic piece of tailoring for her Wimbledon look: the waistcoat.

The menswear item is having a serious moment this season and is a major spring/summer fashion trend - and it’s not hard to see why, as she looked effortlessly chic in hers.

Part of her recent collaboration with Next, Myleene's tailored waistcoat emphasised her svelte frame with its deep V-neckline.

With its tortoiseshell style buttons and brilliant white hue, the jacket had a timeless look which gave more than a subtle nod to tennis. Unlike other waistcoats, hers was made from a stunning linen blend - ticking off another trend for this summer.

Sticking to the luxe linen feel, Myleene teamed the waistcoat with a coordinating pair of linen trousers. With their wide leg cut and lightweight material, the trousers had a slightly more relaxed feel but were still sophisticated enough for Centre Court.

As the British weather is notoriously changeable, the TV presenter also added a matching linen jacket to keep her cosy as the clouds gathered. Also from her recent Next collection, the three-piece-ensemble proved that dresses aren’t your only option for your next event.

Continuing her monochromatic look, Myleene added a white sandals with a kitten heel which were ideal for walking around Wimbledon's impressive grounds.

She stuck to similar hues for her other accessories too, with a timeless wide brimmed straw hat to protect her skin as she watched the match.

The former Hear’Say singer also stuck to mega glam sunglasses trends as she added a pair of large round shades with a silvery frame that blended seamlessly the rest of her outfit.

Keeping jewellery to a minimum, the musician decided to add subtle golden-toned pieces including a pendant necklace and delicate pearl bracelets.

Not only did these pieces compliment her monochromatic outfit, Myleene's jewellery of choice channelled a real quiet luxury feel. 

Showing how just wearable the waistcoat trend is, Myleene also wore minimal make-up as she let her chic outfit take centre stage.

Photographed courtside with her fiancé, Simon Motson, she opted for a subtle pink blush and slightly winged eyeliner.

While other guests were indulging in strawberries and cream, the mum-of-three topped off her look with a beautiful berry-toned lipstick.

She said, "Myleene's matchy matchy look is spot on for Wimbledon. Not only is it white, it's a refreshing twist on tailoring that's ideal for sun-soaked days sitting courtside.

"I recently took trousers and a matching waistcoat set on holiday and it was the perfect suitcase staple - particularly if you're only taking hand luggage, since you can mix and match both," Caroline added. 

"The waistcoat trend has been huge lately so you might have worn one with jeans or midi skirts, but the time has come to pivot to linen."

Jennifer Aniston stepped out recently in a chic outfit, stunning in a tailored white waistcoat with statement buttons and high-waisted coffee brown trousers, for an evening out at the Alexandria Hilfiger Imperfect Harmony event in Santa Monica.

The former Friends actor looked radiant in an outfit that's the epitome of the 'quiet luxury' trend, showing off her new shorter hairstyle and it looks like she's made a new friend in the process - an adorable little puppy. Margarita Heilbron, a friend of actor Sophia Vegera, posted the sweet photograph of Jen with the caption, "Amore in her Hollywood debut!!!" (Amore being the adorable dog).

Denise, 49, told woman&home: “if you remember years ago, you’d see Kate Moss at Glastonbury with her waistcoat.

“They are so versatile and suit all ages as well. I’ve got a slightly bigger bust, so I was a bit nervous about wearing a waistcoat. But if you go a size up than what you would normally be, they sit really comfortably and you can still wear a good support bra underneath.

“There’s loads you can do with a waistcoat… a nice maxi skirt, pencil skirt, skinny jeans, blue jeans - works with everything!”

Her camel-coloured style is available in an impressive size range - UK 8 to 32 - and it's similar to a JD Williams waistcoat that Davina McCall wore when hosting My Mum, Your Dad last year, which flew off the virtual shelves.
