I never sleep well during hot weather, so this year’s relentless heatwaves have meant that I’m lacking shut-eye. And after investing in the biggest cooling fan I could find, the next item on my list is a new pair of summer pyjamas.

It's hard to know what to wear in the heat, and when it comes to bedtime, I have been muddling through the last few sweaty weeks in an array of old vests and mismatched shorts, but as the warm weather is set to continue, I want to restore some order to my nightwear attire and invest in a set that will not only keep me cool but will look and feel good too.

And I think I've found the perfect pair from TU at Sainsbury's. This supermarket set certainly ticks the boxes when it comes to style, as the cornflower blue colour, subtle striped effect and scalloped edging are so pretty, and thanks to a combination of pure cotton fabric, a boxy fit and a stretchy waistband, they should be super comfy, too.

When it comes to tracking down pyjamas that will keep you comfortable in the heat, it's best to opt for natural fabrics such as crisp cotton, soft muslin or linen materials, as they will be much more breathable than anything synthetic. The TU at Sainsbury's set really do all of the above, and as well as perking up my overnight wardrobe, they are so pretty that I might actually wear the shirt during the day too. It's one of those designs that could easily match up with an A-line skirt or my favourite polka dot jeans. I genuinely don't think anybody would notice, and the top would keep me cool during high summer.

It's been a star-studded fortnight at Wimbledon so far. From The Queen and the Princess of Wales to Keira Knightley, Anna Wintour and Sienna Miller, The Championships have certainly attracted some very stylish guests to SW19.

After receiving a luxurious invitation for a vineyard wedding in September, I've been on the hunt for the best summer wedding guest dress for 2026. And as someone who favours vintage-inspired designs and prints, I'm always captivated by Rixo's collections.
