A timeless winter coat is the investment piece that keeps on giving.
And fans of this seasonal style staple will be excited to learn that they can now get their hands on a previously sold out number from M&S.
The high street retailer confirmed that its popular single-breasted coat is back in stock on its official Instagram page, after selling out previously.
The post about the return of “the coat of dreams” attracted more than 3,000 likes, and scores of shoppers couldn’t wait to comment on the news.
One wrote, “Yes. I dropped heavy hints to my parents for Christmas. It’s in my local store and in my size.”
While another added, “I’m always eyeing this coat up. Absolutely gorgeous colour and style!”
A third squealed, “Bought it last week in London! Love it so much!”

Among the celebs pictured wearing it are TV presenter Holly Willoughby – who has recently launched a multitude of her own collections with the brand.
Irish TV presenter, model and Pippa Middleton’s sister-in-law Vogue Williams was also recently snapped out and about in the on-trend coat.
The long-line coat features two large pockets to the front, and also boasts Buttonsafe technology to ‘prevent the buttons from loosening easily’.
The coat has an average review rating of 4-stars from customers on the M&S website.
One happy buyer wrote, “I have bought this for my daughter in law, it is a style that goes across the ages, she is 30 and I would wear this too at 70. It is a classic style without being too frumpy, the material has a good feel to it and is soft to touch. It can be worn for a casual day trip or for an evening out.”
While another loved how versatile the coat was, writing, “Love this coat. The fit and style is nice and roomy, as intended, and so comfortable to wear. Looks great with jeans or leggings, especially black.”
