Well done to everyone who ran the London Marathon

What a brilliant day I had yesterday: I went to London, to support all the wonderful people running the marathon. I was bowled over by the amazing atmosphere, the crowd and of course, the runners. I admire everyone who did it - I was racing, well actually walking or tubing it, between the cheering posts along the route!

The marathon just brings out the best in everyone, don't you agree? Even the rain held off and the sunshine stayed with us for most of the day! What made this marathon very special for me was my son, James, who ran for our charity partner Breast Cancer Care. I am so proud of him, as I am for every one of those 40,000 runners - we admire you all. I think this is the start of a season that should make us all feel proud to be British. Do check out our photos of Breast Cancer Care at The London Marathon.

Well done
Sue
