Sue's blog: Ribbon Walks 2009
Ribbon Walk
We did it! On Saturday, 900 of us took part in the Ribbon Walk at Petworth House in Sussex. I completed the 10 mile walk - my second in 10 days!
Wow, what a day!
It was sizzling hot - brilliant sunshine all day long. I was thankful that the route was amongst so many trees for the shade. I'm not really complaining though. We've had dry weather for all four of our Ribbon Walks this year. That has to be a first!
Diana Moran was at the Petworth Ribbon Walk - looking amazing, as ever. She got everybody stretching, moving and warmed up ready to start the walk.
The sight of hundreds of you in pink T-shirts, walking through the South Downs was quite spectacular. Big thanks and congratulations to all of you who took part. In fact, thank you to all of you who have been involved in any of our Ribbon Walks this year - walker or supporter. We're making a big difference to those affected by breast cancer.
Look through our Ribbon Walk photos from all four events. Are you in there?
