Farrah Fawcett Majors and Michael Jackson
First my son came in about 10.30 yesterday evening and told me and his father that he had just heard that Michael Jackson had been rushed to hospital. Then we spent two hours flicking between the BBC news and CNN and heard that Michael Jackson had died.
This shocking news was followed this morning by reading about Farrah Fawcett sadly losing her two-year battle with cancer.
These two people figured so much in my past - and I’m sure in yours. Farrah Fawcett with her flicked blonde hair in her role as Jill Munroe in Charlie’s Angels. And Michael Jackson whose music, dance and concerts has woven through my life and my kids’ lives too. Thinking about Michael Jackson's soundtracks brings back so many memories, parties and sing-alongs. I’m absolutely certain his music will transcend the generations present and future.
