May 2022 marks the Mediterranean debut for the 140-cabin Golden Horizon, the world’s tallest sailing ship.

MSC Cruises Northern Europe & Cruises from UK

P&O Norwegian Fjords

You can’t call yourself a cruise fan unless you’ve sailed the Norwegian Fjords. Sailing roundtrip from Southampton on Iona which launched in 2021, ports of call include Stavanger, Olden, Geiranger and Haugesund. 

On this classic seven-night sailing, you’ll discover Viking tales and spot glaciers and rare wildlife – you can even kayak or cycle in tranquil mountains.

Disney Cruise Line Bahamas

Launching in June 2022, Disney Wish is the newest ship to join the Disney family – this three-night taster cruise calls at Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay, the cruise lines’ private island paradise. 

Along with two new stage shows, there are three themed districts for families, kids and adults alike. As well as the first ever Disney attraction at sea, there’s also a water wonderland with splash zone, wading pool, family slide and smoothie bar, plus Arendelle, the first ‘Frozen’- themed dining experience.

If mini cruises and small ship sailing with a boutique feel is more your vibe, take a look at this eight-day itinerary from Opatija (Zagreb) to Dubrovnik.
