HOW TO MAKE MULLED WHITE WINE

Method

  1. Warm a bottle of white wine with a couple of sprigs of fresh rosemary, 6 cardamom pods, the lemon slices, cinnamon stick and caster sugar. Heat until the sugar melts and the raw alcohol flavour burns off.

  2. Serve in heatproof glasses, or teacups, to make a delicious hot cocktail.

  • 1 bottle white wine
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 6 cardamom pods
  • ½ lemon, sliced
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 5tbsp caster sugar
