  • 150g (5oz) caster sugar
  • 1tbsp rich balsamic vinegar (Belazu is good)
  • 150ml (¼pt) double cream

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM WITH BALSAMIC

  1. Whizz the strawberries and sugar 
in a blender to form a purée, then 
stir in the balsamic vinegar and chill for 30 minutes.
  2. Stir in the cream then churn in 
an ice cream maker until nearly frozen, before freezing overnight. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
