This weekend's Strictly Come Dancing saw Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins eliminated from the competition.
She and professional partner Brendan Cole were the third couple to be voted off of the show, after facing Davood Ghadami and partner Nadiya Bychkova in the dance-off.
But while the other Strictly celebs were able to keep the results of the results show under wraps until Sunday night, Ruth Langsford made an unfortunate mistake in revealing whether or not she had got through to the next round of the competition.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday night, the This Morning presenter posted a message to both her Instagram and Twitter accounts, declaring how happy she was that herself and partner Anton Du Beke were through to next week.
On Twitter, she wrote "We're through to next week...Yaaaaay! Thank you SO much x x@bbcstrictly @TheAntonDuBeke #StrictlyComeDancing #tango", alongside a short video message.
But of course, the results are not revealed until Sunday night - although they are filmed shortly after the main show on Saturday night.
Fans were quick to pick up on the mistake, with many hoping that Ruth wouldn't get in trouble for the accidental revelation.
Ruth's admission comes just a week after Debbie McGee suffered a similar faux-pas. Whilst live on a radio show on Sunday morning, Debbie admitted her sadness that Reverend Richard Coles had gone - despite the results show having not yet aired.
However, despite Ruth's mistake, she enjoyed a brilliantly successful week on the show.
She and partner Anton performed the Tango to far higher scores than the pair had seen before. And almost all of the judges noted a "100% improvement" in her dancing - with Craig Revel-Horwood even commenting, "That's more like it!"
Ruth then scored 24 out of 40, her highest score in the competition yet. So although she revealed a little too early that she'd been voted into the next week of the competition, it was perhaps fair to assume that she would be.
