Strictly Come Dancing hasn't even started its live shows yet and there is already talk of romance blossoming.
Just one week after the BBC One show launched the 2017 series, rumours of a relationship between The Saturdays singer Mollie King and her dance partner AJ Pritchard surfaced. Taking to social media following their pairing, the duo showered each other with compliments in a series of gushing images and videos - leading viewers to believe a Strictly romance had started early.
But alas, it appears most of the nation have jumped to Mollie and AJ's happy ending too soon, at least according to the pop star.
"I think there's always some kind of romance rumour so it didn't surprise me," the single star told the Huffington Post at the Diversity In Media Awards.
"But I hardly even know him well so far, so there's no truth in that." She added: "He's such a sweetheart and obviously he is a beautiful boy so I‘m very lucky."
The dancing couple appear to have already developed a close bond as they watched a recording of the launch show together at Mollie's home over the weekend.
Sharing a video on her Twitter page, the 30-year-old recorded a short clip of the moment it was announced that her and AJ would be attempting to lift the Glitterball trophy together at the end of the series. Swinging the camera round to face her sofa, Mollie revealed a very happy AJ grinning and screaming as the news was announced. Fans were quick to jump to conclusions after seeing her tweets, with one commenting: "Mollie & AJ are what I would call two adorable humans. #Strictly matchmaking team have done brilliant work again this year!"
While another added: "Mollie and AJ would make a great couple. Not only would they look good but they would have fun together. Finalist this time AJ? #Strictly."
While Mollie may be keeping her experience, strictly professional, there are plenty of other couples who could provide us with a dose of Strictly romance this year - watch this space...
