Fancy a studio flat for £1 million? Discover which are the most sought-after addresses in European cities, where billionaires compete for the handful of mansions for sale and prices rise sky high

Where do the world elite buy their homes? A new study by Knight Frank estate agents reveals the very best addresses in Europe’s most sought after cities. Monaco tops the list of the most expensive locations on the continent, and the most exclusive address there is Avenue Princesse Grace. Named after Grace Kelly, this glamorous, palm-fringed street, which borders Larvotto beach and the yacht-studded sea, battles it out with Hong Kong’s Pollock Path and London’s Kensington Palace Gardens for the title of the world’s most expensive address. Prices are in the region of £5,000 or more per square foot – which means an average studio flat costs more than £1 million.
