Radio DJ Zoe Ball has opened up in a candid chat about the menopause, and certainly hasn't held back on revealing her plans for the next few years.
The 46-year-old split with her husband of 18 years, Fatboy Slim, a year and a half ago, and clearly looks set to embrace the single life.
She confirmed the fact that she has already entered the menopause, saying, "I am menopausal. I am hot and hairy.
And Zoe admitted that she sees her menopause as a way to have a bit of fun, saying, "It is like my last hurrah. Is it going to get better? Do I do HRT (hormone replacement therapy) or do I have the funny tea? This is the quandary."
But, when someone suggested that apparently sex was an ideal cure for the ails of the menopause, Zoe agreed, saying "Have more sex? I have just left my marriage. Okay, that is a good tip. HRT and more sex, I will take that."
The presenter also spoke about embracing the ageing process, saying that she's fully accepting of everything it brings with it. She said, "The best thing about getting older is big pants and comfortable shoes. These were from M&S.
"I am starting to embrace the older age thing. You just stop caring about stuff so much which is nice. I have had a bit of a year of self discovery."
Zoe also spoke about her work on Strictly Come Dancing, as the host of the spin-off show, It Takes Two.
She said, "My job is a pleasure. I can't really believe I have got away with it for so many years as effectively I just bump along really generally with no point.
"I do love my job and it is quite random. Obviously you get all the gossip from Strictly, which is great.
Zoe will soon be hosting BBC show The Big Family Cooking Showdown - rumoured to be Bake Off's new rival - alongside Nadiya Hussain.
Discussing the programme, Zoe said, "I'm not the world's best cook as my kids will vouch but I'm learning so much from these families and from Nadiya! New recipes, top tips & some definite do's and don'ts, I can't wait to share this joyous celebration of family and cooking with everybody."
