Brightening up a cloudy day, the Queen looked magnificent in a primrose dress and coat by Angela Kelly.
In a thoughtful nod to Princess Diana, Carole Middleton chose one of
Diana’s favourite designers, Catherine Walker for the all-important
mother-of-the-bride outfit. Flattering and sophisticated, Carole wore a
pale blue wool crepe coat over a silk shift dress and completed the look
with a dramatic Jane Corbett hat.
Wearing the same designer as she did for her own wedding, Camilla chose a
hand-embroidered Anna Valentine champagne silk dress and duck egg blue
coat. Adding a touch of stylish flair, Camilla wore a chic pair of Jimmy
Choo stilettos to complete her ensemble.
It was the moment everyone had been waiting for – Prince William went in
for not one, but two kisses as the happy couple greeted the crowds on
the Buckingham Palace balcony.
Showbiz royalty David and Victoria Beckham arrived at the ceremony with a
pregnant Victoria choosing a black dress from her own collection,
accessorised with a Philip Treacy headdress and Christian Louboutin
Socialite, former babysitter of the princes and friend of Prince
Charles, Tara Palmer-Tomkinson arrived at the ceremony in an electric
blue off the shoulder dress and matching, sculputured headpiece.
The Prime Minister arrived with his wife Samantha Cameron. David chose
to shun the expected lounge suit in favour of a traditional morning
Breaking with tradition, Samantha Cameron opted for a teal green, ruched
Burberry dress, striking Erdem jewellery and jewelled clips in her
hair. Samantha’s dress proved so popular with viewers that it had sold

Zara Phillips glammed it up for her cousin’s big day in a bespoke Paul Costelloe gun metal grey coat and statement hat.
Princess Anne added a splash of colour to proceedings in a bold floral print coat and mauve shift dress.
The cousins of Prince William, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice, looked
to Philip Treacy for their wedding headgear. Princess Eugenie opted for a
Vivienne Westwood ensemble and her sister Beatrice choosing a blush
pink Valentino dress and coat.
Princess Anne’s son, Peter and his wife Autumn arrived at Westminster
Abbey to join the wedding ceremony, dressed in a traditional morning
suit and a floral grey Emmy coat and dress.
