The Royal Family Pose For Iconic Photo At Diplomatic Reception

The senior Royals and heirs to the throne posed for a rare photograph last night, before hosting their annual Christmas Diplomatic reception at Buckingham Palace. The Queen and Prince Phillip posed with Prince Charles and The Duchess Of Cornwall and Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge, for a photo that spanned three generations. Catherine sparkled as the posed alongside the Queen wearing one of her prized tiaras, just the 5th time she has been seen wearing one of the Queen’s heirlooms, with the first being at her wedding. The Duchess paired her tiara with a red Jenny Packham dress reminiscent of the red Preen dress worn in Canada, while both The Queen and Camilla opted for traditional white. This is the first time they have posed for a picture inside the event.

Prince Harry Comments On His Rebellious Youth

Broadcaster and former royal correspondent Tom Brady has revealed that Prince Harry has opened up about his transformation from a “party prince” in a new ITV documentary due to air later this month. In the upcoming
film the Prince speaks about why he’s glad to have shaken off his rebellious antics, because
it’s “boring to be bad”, and how it’s more fulfilling to be making a difference in the
world.

The documentary will show Prince Harry’s return to Lesotho – an aids-stricken African nation. It captures the moment Harry is reunited with Mutsu, a teenager whose parent died of aids. The pair first met when Mutsu was four and have been in regular contact ever since.

The documentary will air on ITV on Monday 19th December at 9pm.

Prince Harry Breaks Royal Protocol For Meghan Markle

Prince Harry’s latest royal tour to the Caribbean came to an end last week. He was due to fly back to London on Sunday but instead cancelled his pre-booked flight and made a 1,700 mile detour to Toronto to see his girlfriend, Meghan Markle. What makes this controversial? Official Palace policy dicates that work visits should not be merged with personal trips. But it seems Harry was keen to squeeze a few days in with his girlfriend before returning today for royal duties. It must be love!

Meghan Markle’s Romantic Gesture

Earlier this week the Suits actress was pictured wearing a necklace with the letters ‘H’ and “M’ on it – the initials of her and the Prince’s given names. Although it’s unclear whether the necklace was a gift from Prince Harry or if it was purchased by Meghan herself, we think it’s a sweet personalised gesture.
