Who hit the top spot on our Oscars best dressed list? Click to see our favourite red carpet looks from last year's Academy Awards
Lupita has proved herself to be a strong fashion presence on the red carpet and is one to watch for her stylish choices. Opting for a dusty blue silk Prada gown, the Best Actress winner glided down the red carpet, looking every inch the striking starlet.
Wow! Kate’s Versace gown was so stunning and, despite the classic nude hue seen on many starlets, stood out on the the red carpet. From the train to the cape and the statement shoulders, we can’t find fault with this statement gown.
Last year’s best supporting actress nominee showcased one of her best red carpet looks at last year’s Oscars. Julia’s custom Givenchy couture gown was glamorous, classic and on trend with feminine lace panels and peplum detailing, which finished off the classic column style.
We always love Cate’s red carpet choices and we are actually IN love with her Armani Prive gown. The graceful dress was perfect for such a prestigious event and was definitely one of our favourites from the evening. Romantic, elegant regal and grand, the soft gold gown suited the best actress winner’s creamy complexion and strawberry blonde hair.
We haven’t seen Calista on the red carpet for a long time and her return was magnificent! Elegant and understated in a white Andrew GN Resort gown, the actress showed off her tiny frame in this heavily embellished floor-length number. Finishing off her look with a relaxed undo and statement earrings, we think Calista nailed her red carpet look.
Another stunning cream column gown. Naomi Watts looked beautiful in a custom Calvin Klein beaded number. Simple, striking and total red carpet perfection.
After wowing us all in a Saint Laurent tux at the 2014 BAFTAS, Angelina shocked again by going in the opposite direction at last year’s Oscars. Embracing her feminine side in an ethereal Elie Saab gown, Angelina proved she can do red carpet glamour better than anyone else.
It was another red carpet winner from American Hustle actress Amy Adams. Whilst she may have lost out on the Best Actress award to Cate Blanchett on the night, she was radiant on the red carpet in Gucci Premiere. Her navy gown was simple, elegant and reminiscent of old Hollywood screen sirens, as all her red carpet looks have been this season.
Olivia proved how to dress a baby bump in Valentino. Sticking to safe black, the actress glowed in this figure hugging gown.
Another metallic gown for the Oscars’ red carpet. Jennifer was lovely in her 20s-inspired Oscar De La Renta dress, opting for a simple take on awards season glamour. We loved her natural look and effortless beauty.
