Interesting Things We Only Found Out After I’m A Celeb Finished

2016 saw Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt crowned Queen of the Jungle in the I’m A Celeb final.

Scarlett said she had watched the hit show since she was ten years old and wished more than anything that she could go back in time and tell her younger self she would one day win just so she could see her own face! We wish that too, Scarlett…

But if you thought the I’m A Celeb news was over though, think again. Here are some interesting titbits and revelations that have only come to light since the show wrapped:

Scarlett’s On Her Plans For The Future

Since leaving the jungle, Scarlett has revealed she plans to marry her hairdresser boyfriend Luke Crodden and wants a fairytale style wedding.

She told The Mirror, “I think Jordan’s marriage to Peter Andre was amazing. I loved it. I want mine to be like that. I want a glass carriage. I’d also like a Willy Wonka theme with centrepieces as sweets and munchkins as waiters.”

Scarlett On Spending Her Winnings

The I’m A Celeb winner revealed she will be using her winnings to buy her dad a caravan. She also has plans to put some money towards breast enhancement surgery, after losing 3 stone earlier this year. It’s estimated the bubbly Geordie could pocket as much as £1 million in TV and fashion deals, with both ITV and Channel 4 showing interest in signing her, so she should have some change left over!

Sam Quek On Showering

Sam Quek revealed that she only showered 4 times during her 24 days in the jungle. The GB hockey star admitted that she was reluctant to strip off because she wanted to be viewed as a positive role model for young women and didn’t want her experience to boil down to a ‘shower scene’.

She said, “Coming out of the jungle and hearing the words ‘role model’ used, that is exactly what I wanted to achieve. If I have done that because of the jungle and made young girls go ‘hockey is cool’, then that is great.”

Joel Dommett On His Secret Love Interest

While the sparks were flying between Carole Voderman and Joel Dommett in camp, it seems the runner-up was keeping a little secret from viewers. On Monday, the comedian appeared on Good Morning Britain and opened up about a mystery love interest he met before the show. He stressed the pair weren’t “necessarily dating” but that he was looking forward to seeing her when he gets back to the UK.

Adam Thomas On His Tipsy Appearance On This Morning

On Monday, Adam Thomas appeared (via live chat) with fellow runner-up Joel Dommett on This Morning. During the interview, the Emmerdale actor admitted he wasn’t completely sober as the TV appearance had interrupted the wrap party in Australia.

He said, “I had quite a bit of champagne, I’m not gonna lie! I’ve spent time with my family and my little boy.”

The cheeky duo were unable to hold back their excitement as they kept bursting into fits of laughter during the interview – which in turn set off presenters Holly and Phillip, who are renowned for their chuckling.

And Finally, The Wrap Party WasVery Boozy

It’s safe to say that this series
of I’m A Celeb has definitely been the most harmonious, despite the
occasionally spat between Martin and Larry.

All the celebs formed
close bonds and many of them were reduced to tears when their fellow
campmates were voted off. After spending days apart, the stars were finally
reunited at the I’m A Celeb wrap party, alongside hosts Ant and Dec.
After living off rice and beans for three weeks, the stars let their
hair down as they enjoyed free-flowing champagne with their fellow
campmates and partners.
